- A blanket of stars , written and performed by Brian Hughes and Band
Recorded last November at Live-Proberaum Zülpich . With Brian Huges guitar , Matt Rhode keys, Steve Hass, drums , Rufus Philpot bass, Ron Powell percussion
This is an absolutely masterful perfomance right here. Brian's playng is full of such feeling. The rhythm section. is what blows me away though. The drummer is crushing it and the bass player is SO in the pocket. GOOSEBUMPS!!!!! BRAVO!!!!!!!
incredible spiritual mastery. it has been the world of masters and especially Steve Hass's spiritual composition melody on the drums is great! Here, go deep into the soul with music. wonderful!
I could listen to this all day
Brian Hughes is best guitarist ever. What a nice by all measure music. I really LOVE it, the Best. Thanks Brian
He is great, but let's not forget that there is another guy of similar style, Pat Metheny... I think he is pretty good too.

do you what type of old mixer that he use for his guitar sound?and rack unit underneath the mixer?
It's my on take on this; or am I totally wrong.... has Brian Hughes lost momentum? His music is remarkable.
