I wonder... what would happen if...?: -Mario gave up his soul for the flashlight -Made at least three purchases from the Shopkeeper -Visited the Face Guardian once, escaped through the top of the screen, and found the Amulet -Found the Skull Key, met with the Angel of Death and gained strength over the missing soul -Visited the Room of Unbearable Pain, found Mario's missing soul and the Flesh Key -Revisited the Shopkeeper, made ANOTHER purchase -Revisited the Face Guardian and killed it on the second visit (I am guessing the Demon's soul would escape, since Mario has his at this gome) -Revisited the Shopkeeper AGAIN and made one final purchase -Take the final path out of the castle using the Flesh Key... Now my question... if those events are followed in that order, what would happen? -Would we see the Shopkeeper's Red Demon Face chase mario down a dark path full of thwomps and spikes like endings #2 or #3? -Would Mario go to the top of the castle and fight the Shopkeeper's Avatar like in ending #7? -Or would we perhaps see something EVEN MORE SINISTER and HAIR-RAISING? 😈😈😈😈😈😈
Hey Wakana, picture this: It was suggested to me that there could be a follow-up horror hack to this set in Bowser's Castle. "enter the Back Door, and you find the entrance to the Bowser boss boarded up. You'll backtrack and find you have to go through all the eight rooms backwards, each portraying corrupted versions that gradually become more sinister. Just not tossing in the typical creepypasta tropes like random blood splatters. Like, imagine if the curtains room also had creepy faces on the curtains as you backtrack."
