Interesting I didn't know that about the remote control I still use all the am radio savage radio. I do have 2.4 but never noticed but I never drive to far aways I hat run aways. Amazon had a 6v battery and charger pack for sale 7$ 2000mha the same day this video came out. I try to slot the screw it self first and unscrew it before I drill it out. 💪👊🍻👍💯🛠️
I know the man u speak of alster hes a gentleman he has went above and beyond for me . sorted me out with loads of rc gear 🤘 great video as always mate and the savage looks awesome
You actually don't need the whole antenna on a 2.4ghz receiver. The part where you can see the fiber cable is all you need, which is usually around 31mm. There is the outer sheath and then under that is a another mesh sheath and below that is the fiber cable. The antenna on one of my receiver got damaged so I just removed the damaged part and exposed 31mm of the fiber cable. Still get the same range even with half of the antenna gone.
YOU can also open the receiver and replace the antenna,,,some just snap on..some just a drop of solder is all you need,,,very simple,,,I’ve done it many times,,,,you can buy a package of 2,,,for $5.00. Or less…easy fix…

Good tip bro is to put heat shrink around the antenna all the way to the base of the receiver makes it last longer 👍 keep up the good work bro 👍👊💯🇦🇺
