With those steering posts those screws alwaysss lock up or stripped out, have restored 4 old savages and they were all a pain, I ended up disassembling it to have the posts and the bottom purple plate off. Then used 2 vices grips, one to hold the post and one to turn the actual screw, always works.
Haggard I hope you had a good day be blessed my friend improper everyday your channel your life your marriage your friend I hope everybody proper 🇬🇧🇺🇲💯
A 775 electric motor for the start box will work you can find them every were there about 10$ matter a fact it's the same motor in that Ryobi drill you have it's used in a lot of Ryobi tool and multiple tools and work up to 20v you can even use your drill battery to power it if needed. Just a fyi 🛠️💯👍✌️🍻
@@HaggardRC no problem I really only know this because at my work they were to cheap to buy me power tools so most of my power tools were some else broken tool before I'll collect a couple then pull them apart and repair it 5 broken tool uselly mean 3 repaired tools for me . I'm just glad I happen to noticed they use the same motors and seen the motor part number 775 and Google it they just gear each tool differently same with the start box I happen to see the same parts number 775 on one . they can handle up to 20v and as low as 12 v 👍💯✌️🛠️

Impressive that the Savage 21 is still going after all these years. Even more impressive that it works with so many missing screws. 😅
I had a savage 21 20 years ago. I put a new engine in it I converted to a savage SS 4.6
Haggard RC when you can buy a speed out set, it helps remove stripped out screws.
They do but I already have drill bits so why spend money when I have the stuff already 🤘🏻😂
