Great video Scott. No fancy camera work needed, you do a great job explaining things. Found you via Chris from In the WoodYard. Keep the great videos coming, learning a ton from you. Your no BS approach is great. 👍🏻
Its been nearly 6 months the last time I watched your videos, now I gonna catch up and watch all the new videos I havent seen in the past 6 months, thanks for watching.......LATER!
@@robertI153 I think it was just an old rubber hose. Sure it could have sat in some old gas for a while but I don't think the saw ever ran on old fuel. The cylinder and piston were pretty clean.
Morning Brother 😀😊 Pretty Innovative Home Made Tool for The AV Spring I’ve Never Had Access Too The FactoryTool I’ve Got The Clutch Tool Set But That’s All We Have For Husky’s I’ve Got The Complete Kit For Stihl Though and Also Echo Tool Kit 😎 Nice Repair
I like having the factory tools for repairs but don't like the fact that sometimes they are needed when theres a big box of tools I already paid for waiting to be used.
As always another great video Scott, thank you. I certainly wish I could spend a solid week with you training. After the 1st day you'd probably ship me back after the 1st 100 questions. Take care brother
I've been giving some thought to a series of videos just teaching theory of saw repair. Once you know basic electricity, carbs etc, you should be able to fix anything. Of course that would require I never sleep and my days are already full. We'll see.
@@TheGreasyShopRag if you do decide to do it and even if you charge for the classes sign me up. Hey thats a GREAT idea with the conduit tool!! Preciate the advice...and YES screw length is VERY CRITICAL!! and yeah my problem would be if i had a RUclips channel that is...would be monkeying around with a daggone camera! Again...great vid. Keepem' coming brother!
So it looks like the ground side of the kill switch is attached to my anti vibe spring. Idk if that's correct or not? Anyway I am fighting a no spark issue , but plan on doing fuel lines when it goes back together. Thank you got great vid.
That doesn't sound right but I don't remember for sure. Either way, the ground attached to the wrong spot wouldn't prevent spark but a damaged wire between coil and switch would. Also a bad switch would. If you disconnect the kill wire from the coil and still don't have spark then it has nothing to do with the switch or wires.
hello i have a sameless problem with no gaz in line put the gaz in carb or blow in tank and gaz exit in gaz line start and run just the gaz in line and stall please help me??
Just me being a saw nerd.. . Thats a gen2, 372 and would be called a x-torque and/or strato saw. A gen1 would have a gray choke lever not blue. the compression release is on the side of the piston, not the top. . Thats Probably the 2 easiest ways of identifying a gen1 from a gen2 version. I like your no nonsense approach to your videos. I have learned a lot with or without the fancy camera angles. Thanks man!
Thanks for tuning in!
Scottster makin' it look easy as usual. Always enjoy when The Greasy Shop Rag puts out a new vid. Thanks for the uploads buddy!

As much as I enjoy buying new tools. Without buying something to work on they gather dust. Thanks for sharing tool ideas.
If they gather dust you could buy a new vacuum cleaner!

I assumed when the mount broke cranking on the stuck saw that the fuel line was ripped in half from continuous yanking??
It's the wisdom and dry humor I come for and not necessarily the video work.............. although your editing is top notch!
Thanks, I appreciate that.

where can you get the anti-vibe tool
The official Husqvarna tool is part number 502521802. Order from your local dealer or online.
Morning Scott, are they husky felling dogs or an aftermarket. I want to put a set on my 440 magnum. Just went to a 25 lite bar. What do you recommend?
The ones here are original Husqvarna

Sounds like a carb problem or a hole in the fuel line.

Making your own tool to fix something, when you don't have the tool, says you are a professional tinkering fixer. Made some tools myself.
I have a few home made tools coming up in a video. Well, I'm thinking about that video.
Is it just me or does that seem like a huge saw with a small bar?
That combo probably never struggles to make the cut.
