Always amazing to see new strats in 2022! Sin's Falcon WRs still give me goosebumps... especially with the music! Thanks for the nostlagia and great work as always!
@0:43: Crazy how powerful putting background music in those WR videos was back then. The second I heard Rammstein, I immediately remembered seeing this exact record/video, almost 20 years ago... unbelievable O.o! Thank you so much for this complilation :D Thanks for the nostalgia
@@futurefox128 if I recollect correctly we‘ve met in Stade twice. I think it was summer 04 and winter 04. Ssbm mewtu first😅😅Shippou1 later. Nostalgia kicks in.
I always get nostalgic about those, especially Tipo/Typo’s old vids. It felt like an art form of its own when he & other record holders always synced the final hit with a song’s most prominent beat drop.
Always love watching hrc videos over the years so it's nice to see how strategies evolved over time. There's something about old hrc comps and just general gaming feats from the mid to late 00s that feel so special to me. Thanks for making this
Also there was a song I found in an hrc compilation video years ago that I just cannot find anymore and I'm convinced I was hallucinating at this point lol
Sin's song is F-Zero 'The Flood Plain' published by ocremix Hey random question where can i find an explanation of sandbag's properties weight gravity that sort of thing?
Yes! Nessfreak maintains a Google Drive video archive, which is linked in the description. Almost all of sins' PB and WR videos are there - just make sure to scroll all the way down in each character section as some of the scores are listed as meters instead of feet.
LOL yeah it seems out of place now, but at the time Sin still held a ton of world records (almost all dating back from 2007). Falcon was probably one of sin's best characters, so beating his score was a huge deal

Crazy to see you commenting on this video. Still remember you from the ssbm forum days and that forum meeting with flyfunner etc.

0:53 perfectly timed guitar jumpscare
Awesome new record and thanks for putting in the effort to make these history vids, they're a ton of fun!
Amazing video, I love the idea of publishing a whole chronology of the WR rather than just announcing a new WR!
0:12 shows the devs knew what they were doing when they made this game. L-canceling and Wavedashing were not accidents in the slightest.
This was super cool. I would be so down to watch world record histories for other characters
8:46 Love that the “USA” chanting is done over a piece titled for a city in Ukraine
Sweet video; love watching your HRC world records
The most amazing part is how you found an ancient Cornerdealie video O.o
Oh we’ve got tons of old vids in the archive…I think the oldest is tetsuyas bowser 880.8 from approximately February 4, 2002
amazing videos as always :D
Bro, I have looked for those kind of videos for 1 decade and half
Glad you enjoyed! I will hopefully get to a few more of these videos in the coming year, but no surprise records at the end LOL
@@HRCtypo42 keep up the good work mate! You can also exploit your experience for tutorials, maybe small documentaries on the history of the HRC etc..

Sin was something else...
What a throwback, amazing!
By the way, is there any place of Sin's old HRC videos?

try double jump
it's funny people from USA have to say that the WR is from their country lol

@@HRCtypo42 Congratz on the new WR btw. That new strat seems really really hard!
Melee devs rnt bad
This is one of their more creative strats, for sure. shame the percent is too low for falcon punch's knockback to really start scaling up though.
