    Who ever the one person is who disliked this video. I dont know who you are. I dont know what you want. If your looking to troll people I will tell you it wont work, but what I do know is that Bob Ross have a very particular set of skills. Skills he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that make him a nightmare to people like you. If you undislike this video that'll be the end of it. He will not look for you, he will not pursue you, but if you dont, Bob will look for you, Bob will find you and Bob will paint you a happy little cloud.

    When I was in eighth grade we would watch this show during 'homeroom' (we called it advisory and we had it after lunch), and we called it Bob Ross Fridays. We were so amazed by how real he made this stuff look. Sometimes he would start a new part of the painting and we would be like, "YOU RUINED IT!" but then he made it look amazing all over again. Good times.

    • @TheGreatTomdini
      @TheGreatTomdini 2 года назад +6

      He uses black canvasses quite a bit. A few yellow, green, and gray ones too, or two-tone (half black, half white, especially in seascapes), or a "clear" canvas (Magic Clear) and he might cut an oval out of some contact paper or use masking tape to subdivide the canvas into two or three panels lol... an 18x24 with Liquid Hwite is his most common setup but Bob has a lot of variations!!

      That quote really made Bob Ross' reality. It's devastating after research that he secretly suffered from Lymphoma, never to say anything to anyone and only embrace the situation and keep living his life harmoniously without causing stress to his family and friends; it's probably not what he wanted. He was a brave man to do that and left the world way too soon at 52 years old. Way too much to live for with his good heart and talents- it's quite heartbreaking ;(

    This is a totally different type of painting: mostly all created with a palette knife and the limited use of a brush for the desired effects! It proves that Mr. Ross could, indeed, create his compositional magic with only paints and the masterful use of only two application tools! Not the usual style that he employs with the 'wet-on-wet' technique, but very creative and impressive, none the less!

    Impressive skill with just the knife. He can make even the most nonsensical scratch up close look like a masterpiece from a distance

    111 people were victims of palette knife stabbings. The rest of us cant get enough of those sounds.

    I've done this one before and it turned out so good. Using mostly a palette knife is such a fun challenge

    Initially when he was putting in the clouds at the beginning, I thought, "that looks like shit, Bob." But in no time at all, they looked great and I then though, "I'm sorry for ever doubting you, Bob." He could do with a paint knife what I can't with a hundred brushes!

    I've been wanting to see him do a painting with the knife ever since the first time I heard him talk about it. I was wondering how it could be done? I'd have to say I'm definitely not disappointed this is amazing thumbs way up and it's going into my watch later list so I can relive it again and again.

    I can guarantee that all I would ever make with that knife is the biggest mess ever put on a canvas. Bob would use my disaster to show how not to do it. Everyone would point at me yell loser, have a big laugh, and cheer as he tossed it into the trash can. Then he would begin this video and show us the correct way to use a paint knife perfectly as he always did. RIP Bob. You will be teaching people not born until 2110 how to paint.
