I'm so glad to see you're sharing your thoughts on Paris again -- I always enjoy your insight on the city. Please keep creating at your own pace, and where your interests lead you to do so.
I wish I had more time to do videos, but life is kinda galloping along with me holding on. There will be more, for sure, but yeah, at a pace I can manage with everything else I have going on....
Your videos are toujours parfait Aida et le montage est bien fait. Your event coverage is super and reminded me of the Monty Python Olympics. So stay and appreciate all the rich people who could afford the ridiculously expensive tickets. Watch from the streets the wobbly walking race or of course try and find a cute pole vaulter :) I will watch from afar and enjoy the spectacle.
Merci Stephen. Que de mots gentils ! I'd forgotten the Monty Python Olympics, but now I remember that skit. I wish I'd leaned more into that now (though I don't know how I'd fare as a Gumby).
I think you should do what you want to do. Listen to your heart, Aida. Yes, it's going to be even more crowded, just too damned crowded. But if you can go to the Olympic Village, it will probably be an enjoyable experience that you'll be glad you did not miss. Paris is an international city anyway, but I think there will be a different atmosphere with thousands of athletes, coaches, etc. providing a different kind of vibe.
Vu le titre je m'attendais à une petite rétro avec The Clash? Du coup je vais chercher dans mes vieux vinyles. Merci de m'avoir soufflé l'idée, cela fait un bail que je ne les ai pas écouté.
Sooo funny. Love the cell with you on a donkey? Remove the Tour d'Eiffel and you are in Corleone? As much as I would love to see the Olympics in person...not in my home town, thank you. The disruption would be horrendous. Nice to see your vids again. Enjoy the Olympics 😊
Glad to hear you liked my little trot in front of the Eiffel Tower. As for the disruption: as I said in the video, I'm of two minds about the whole thing. It'll be a circus. Hopefully the fun kind.
Nice summary on the upcoming 2024 summer Olympics games in July, which is this month. By the way, Aida, are you of Algerian, Moroccan or Tunisia 🇹🇳 background? There’s a large Algerian community in France 🇫🇷.
Hi, thanks for watching it. Yeah, as I said in the video, I'm hanging around for the Games. Going to see what it's like, starting Friday 26 July. And no, my lineage isn't from those countries...
@@amusingaida the audio sounded so loud and annoying to me , especially in the beginning segment and I could not handle it. I don't mean to be rude but maybe that was just me. I thought it was unnecessary to the content and intention of the video.
@@williamkazak469 Thanks for the constructive feedback. You're right of course - the audio level at the start of the video is too loud. In my defense, I've never done RUclips before and I keep learning on how to improve all the technical stuff when I edit on my iPad. I hope you'll see that I got better at that (at least the audio level) in my latest video...

This is more creative than most of the channels that think of themselves as filmmakers. Bravo!
Thanks. I've learned a lot, but still so much to learn about making videos!
That crunch on the baguette 👌👌👌!!!
That's when you have a good one!
The Olympics? Time to go to Marseille for a few weeks😂🏃♀️
That... actually sounds appealing. But I think for me it'll be Paris
U r one of the finest Bloggers around :-) ... your story telling is very nice ... get flattered
Oh wow. I'm not worthy (to quote Wayne). That's very nice of you to say that. I'm always learning, so much more to learn.....

je veux dire sauter à la perche. I think I prefer the French name for this crazy event.

So good to get a new vlog from you.. Christmas comes early
haha... I've been so busy the past couple of months. No time for RUclips. But, yes, I did manage to get this one out.... Hope you enjoy!
Will you do a video on Christmas in Paris please 🙏!
Probably not. I'm aiming more for evergreen stuff, and all those pretty lights are only up for a couple of weeks....

Very original and creative! Bien Joué!
Merci !

Vous avez raison - un grand tube !

@@amusingaida I take back what I said
I can’t imagine how they will cram the summer Olympics into Paris.
We're about to find out!
OK, It's now! Got to ask, are you staying in Paris for the Olympics? I've seen lots of photos of empty streets of late... warmest regards - r
You know, the streets are emptier than they normally would be. But let's see how it is next week. (Yes I am staying.)
@@amusingaida I' seeing lots of security alerts; stay safe. warm regards - r
The video was funny and interesting thanks
Thank you! So happy it spoke to you!
Such an exciting time to be in Paris. Savor each and every moment, as it will be over all too soon. 😟
It's.... interesting. A bit weird. But interesting...
😊
when do we see u next ????
Glad you asked! I am actually finishing up my latest video... probably in a week I think!
I cannot handle the noise.
The noise of people partying? Or all the prep work being done?

i wouldn't want to be there w/15 mill spectators yikes and non merci
Mostly that sounds like a party. But the métro is already filled to bursting, so I've no idea how all the extra visitors will fit...
I would leave !
