As a year long corgi owner, let me tell you. They are HARD. Without intense training they are a handful at minimum.
They are literal sass monsters
My Corgi, Einstein only barks when he is super happy and playful (which is a high pitched bark) or if he hears something troubling and becomes protective (a low pitched bark making him sound like a bigger dog). Barking is a sign of him communicating so it doesn't bother me. If he wants something he will whine or whimper. He also tends to be more of an introvert

Ha ha my corgi doesn't know the meaning of be quiet especially when I walk him at night he gives a looks that speaks volumes he's a very stubborn dog but he stole my heart he's 5 and is the most loving dog ever but corgis have independent thought he does what you want as long as you have a treat otherwise he walks away! He's my first dog he's spoiled rotten 😁

My boy is going on 5 years old This month we have tried everything to get him to stop barking but he won't stop I have no idea what to do it
I live in an apartment style town house so we try our Best to give him as much As possible.

My corgi is viscous to my other dog. They try to kill each other. I may have to fix her. I even walk both dogs 4 miles every day lately. I thought they'd be tired out but this behavior is new.
My wife was thinking about corgis but after doing research. We found out corgis are loud, obnoxious, bark excessively, heavy shedders, not good with kids.
@@iishyxvietxboyii1not bad with kids, just a very high effort dog with herding instincts and high energy. Not the easiest starter dog
After my first corgi passed, I'm about to get a new corgi puppy. IMHO, a corgi that doesn't bark is not a real corgi but some sort of mutant corgi that's not really happy.
If corgi barking is driving you nuts, don't worry. You soon reach the point of Corgi-Bark Deafness. It's very selective but effective. Like an SEP Field.

that's not true. a corgi barking 24/7 is either not trained properly or not cared for
I just say shhhhh every time she barks and say no loudly. Eventually she just stopped barking all the time. Once she was quiet I eventually let her bark when appropriate and now she’s trained to bark when it’s ok like if someone is coming into the house etc etc
