Just did the recent nbme and the answer was surgery even before CT. So no, not always CT is indicated for diagnosis. Clarification for those who will take ck in 2023 and beyond.

colonoscopy is now done at 45 Yo and redone every 10 years if FH of colon CA, then at 40 Yo or 10 years younger than the age of family member dx - whichever comes first
