Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds Description:
Aloy travels to The Cut, the home of the Banuk Tribe after hearing word of dangerous machines appearing and a mountain belching smoke. She learns from local chieftain Aratak that the Banuk have been attempting to battle a Daemon on the mountain, "Thunder's Drum", which is apparently the cause of the machines in the area attacking the Banuk.

Wow, with the Frozen Wilds update looks like the game got lots of small improvements. The facial animations look a lot better than when the game launched.
The conversations need some help though. The exchange between CYAN and Aloy is abrupt and is missing words in several instances.

Hey, same thing as with the main game's movie. Saw it first from GLP a while ago, and though I liked the DLC I thought it to be a bit thin, also the story sometimes rushed. Now, in your take on it, I watch parts of the story they had left out, side quests, dialogue, background stories to the Banuk, their culture and the people. It's simply enriching, giving `Frozen Wilds´ a depth that's much more in line with what one would expect from Guerilla. Nice.
Thank you, i'm really glad you enjoyed watching it. I know what you mean with regard to the story sometimes feeling rushed, some people tend to upload cinematic scenes of games only in an attempt to make a movie but it ends up feeling more like watching a montage of the game instead because so much of the story is missing. I always try to keep the story intact :)

Ive yet to play this DLC, but HZD is a blast. I wished that they had ported this to the PC, this would have unleashed a new age of gameplay at this level. Perhaps even a multiplayer mode.
WOW Honestly this was my first time to see a movie like this. Not a real man I like the story very much The chieftain and he's family have love. And Aloy'help to the tribe was success. and having emotional.Wow fantastic movie thanks the uploaded.

One thing that concerns me is you didn't turn on Subtitle in game. That's too bad cause you vid is the only Frozen Wild movie cut that I felt really enjoyed cause of the flow of it. Anyways, thx for your hardwork
I hear ya, I kinda wish there was a better method of auto-generating subtitiles via youtube. At the moment all of my video game "movies" have subtitles disabled because of the amount of screen cropping I do. If i had left them switched on, sometimes they'd be there and the next they'd be missing.

Should have turned around at the start and looked at the volcanic ash mixed with the northern lights. Prob the most beautiful view in the game

@@GAZArts well yeah obviosuley. just finished the game and didnt realize the volcanic ash stopped before i beat it and was looking around for footage of that view

I bought my Complete Edition in Japan, so when I entered The Cut, the symbol was not written in English, but in Japanese. Kinda cool for Guerilla to add in that detail.

I'm kinda confused about Frozen wilds, is this in during Aloy's journey or does this comes after the defeat of the Eclipse? I'm confused because of what Sylens had said in 2:30 - 2:35 that the Eclipse is still a threat.

Yeah frozen wilds takes place within Horizon Zero Dawn's main campaign and not after. It's a shame it was released after i'd finished horizon otherwise i would have just included it in my main Horizon Zero Dawn video. Thanks for watching :)

@@Vincentpanh ABSOLUTELY has combat. And yes, HZD's is better than Death Stranding as far as fluidity, but Death Stranding allows you to actually be overpowered if you want. Which is more my style.
