Also there is a prequel spin off about one of the characters but it's not required watching to understand the story. Just something extra if you love the character and want to know more. If you've never seen an isekai before, it's going to be interesting to see how you find this. As another commenter says, this is a parody that makes fun of the tropes you find in that genre. If you have no reference point for those tropes (such as being killed by a truck), then I'm curious to see how you find it
I need to recommend, as maybe many others have or will, that you watch Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. If you like going into things with as little info as possible: it's a fantasy setting. It's simply beautiful, in aesthetics and in themes. It doesn't have a huge amount of action but the action that happens is awesome and meaningful. Magic orientated. Hint of romance. Everything from the music and animation to the sound effects and voice acting is top notch. Hope you enjoy it but you may struggle to find other anime that live up to it afterwards ;-)
even being an avid sub enjoyer id highly recommend watching Konosuba in English dub. Kazuma's voice actor along with the rest of the dub cast makes it a million times more funny in my opinion. my first watch through was sub and some if not half of the jokes didn't hit as hard as they did in English on my 2nd watch through.
