Excellent video, to the point, and simple, even without any verbal explanations.

I have seen multiple videos for the application process but hands down this one is the most elaborated.
I dont know if you're going to see my comment. But is it ok to get a larger sheet that the original size of the jacket? I worry because that if i ordered sheet that is exactly same size as my jacket then it will be slightly smaller.

Thank you! Yes, I think you can get a bigger size and then just fold the extra over and tape it.

Thank you for this video tutorial. Do you have a video of how to reinforce a paperback book? I have seen library books with a thick plastic protector on paperback and am trying to figure out how to recreate this at home.

I do not, I'm sorry! I recorded this for a school project. I do know that the library assistant who works in my office just does it with clear masking tape... But there is a special paperback covering. I would Google it.

@@Charlie-eq3dj I am using a Wal-mart clear kitchen liner and a crafting bone to do it. I found a video tutorial that stated they used this one. It isn't as thick and strong as the kind a library uses, but it does reinforce the paperback book.

    Two questions:
    1. Why would you _not_ take the extra 15-20 seconds to cut off the excess paper backing, instead of leaving the extra layer of paper in the bottom-half of the DJ? Over time, with other books being shelved next to it, it is likely to develop wear to the DJ at the edge of that excess paper.
    2. Why fold the mylar before putting the book back into it? I have found that too often the folds at the wrap-arounds on the DJ no longer line-up with the edges of the boards with the Brodart in place. I think it gives a much better finish to put the book back into the mylar-covered DJ, lined-up to one edge, and then fold the wraps around the boards, and using those lines, use the bone folder to set the new folds.
In all, doing both of those takes less than a minute, but leaves a tidier result.
