I love how the owner of this car knows about some of the other 200 Silver Arrows that were produced. I'm guessing there's a database online where owners of these super rare Rivieras can post about their cars. I wasn't a huge fan of this generation's body style but i have to admit that next to the bench seat cars, these Silver Arrow's are the most rare.
I just changed the oil on number 87 I'll look at the paperwork and see how many miles are on it. He just had the supercharger rebuilt on it and now alternator. No leaks of any kind no dents dings scratches or worn interior. Great car
I actually got my girlfriend pregnant in my first reviera cause their back seats are so big and comfortable it’s like a leather couch. My Preferred color is Dark burgundy . It’s an amazing car . I was lucky at 19 to be the only at my school and my church with a Riviera.
Very good video! I just purchased Silver Arrow #3. It has 93000 miles on it . I was very interested to see the the bottom side of your trunk lid is white also with no decals on it. I was wondering how this happened and am curious to know if there is a story behind it.
Thanks Matt. I own #89/200 with 40,500 miles. It was a daily driver until Covid and now sits under the custom car cover that came with it. As much as I love this car I would like someone else to enjoy it. Only upgrades are LED headlights, avigation, and tinted windows. Car is in excellent condition. Rivi is located in KY. Please reply to this if interested.
@@TheRoadliner69 No, I actually had a change of heart. My VIN ends in 2151 and the last one produced was 2156 so she was one of the very last ones produced. In talking with the Silver Arrow Registry and Ray with the "Rivi Review" made me stop and think how much I would regret parting with '89. So I will keep her tucked in under the cover until winter passes then get her out on the road again. Thank you for your interest! RJ
I have one with 291,000 miles and the interior is falling apart the suspension is worn out so I'm riding on springs. The radiator went out because the car overheated and blew the head gasket, not to mention I've had to replace every single part that you could possibly replace on this car just to keep it on the road, cost me over four grand over the years. It doesn't even have any paint left, other than that I have no complaints it's really been a nice car, it gave me something to do fixing it everyday and taking all the money I had. So if anyone out there is trying to learn how to fix a car buy a Buick Riviera.👍
@@matthewmilton9320 I'm Manuel Romero I own one 1995 it also has a supercharger it's like blue and gray only a 73,000 Miles when I bought it two years ago now I've got 95,000 but I'm having a few issues with the engine not wanting to start service engine light coming on

Hey Rusty sounds like a nice car. How much were you looking to get for it? Maybe I can find a buyer for you.
@@matthewmilton9320 Thanks Matt. I've got it listed on other sites for $14,500. Curious, what did yours sell for?
Did you sell your car?
