I don't think the EU would just sit by as the Kingdom of Britain launches wars and conflicts across the Isles to reclaim their lands, i think atleast isolation efforts and sanctions would happen. I also think Ireland would've directly joined the war between Britain and Scotland on the side of Scotland, they'd likely be crushed anyway but still. But overall, this was really interesting to watch, especially when England fell to Revanchism.
Why didn't the Celts form a mutual defence pact along NATO lines? Seems the most logical thing they would do in this situation. Also, Charles is now monarch and has not gone completely insane so we know this is very "out there" alternate history. Also 2, I think William's personality indicates that even if he were an absolute monarch, he would be a liberal one and wouldn't really do this kind of thing.
