Yess! You found this double tone in Noora's voice immediatelly, I'm impressed. Noora is also one of those few singers who sound even better live that on album. She is not very tall, but on stage she grows to a giant, really. Keep up the excellent work! P.S. You could try reacting to Smackbound, Lost Society or Insomnium

I concur about Smackbound. They're yet another really good band from Europe. I'd suggest "Wall of Silence" or "Drive it Like You Stole It" if you're going to check them out.
It's crazy how accurate you were in describing her stage presence after hearing just one song. She is a commanding force of nature on stage. Some people were born to be rock stars.
I have seen them multiple times. They are awesome and Nooras sound is as tight live as in this video.
And that horned outfit is her actualy live outfit. She is the Battle Beast afterall :)
And she - and the rest of the band - bring it live even to a midweek show in front of 200-300 people.
I just saw this group last weekend and she indeed is very commanding and captivating frontwoman. I was ready to take on a dragon with a toothpick after the gig, that's how hyped up I was.

I saw Battle Beast open for Kamelot / Delain back in 2018. Noora can bring it live. The whole band is tight, tbh.

Thank you Eric for doing this. Battle Beast is awesome. They've gotten better with each new album. I really like their compositions. I hope they go further down the symphonic route - they have talent, creativity and singing prowess.

Overall, she can sound like a cross between Ann Wilson and Doro Pesch - not a bad combination.
Noora Louhimo has such great 80's rock sound. Her h9gh notes brings ke back to late 80's- early 90's. Hahah

Yeah, I'm glad you found Battle Beast at last :) I'm from Finland so I have had the opportunity to see them Live about 10 times in festivals and individual shows. And Noora has deliveted always 10/10 performance. Amazing voice live and band has developed in good direction over the years.

Can confirm, although i've only seen them 3 times but every show has been almost flawless counting out some technical difficulties which happen to every band now and then.
Yup, Noora is powerhouse. And the rest of the band is just great as well. And they sound live much more rich. Great musicians all together. You have now scratch the surface, brake it and dive in to the BB world. Already long history, and some of the old material is just awesome. There's a full gig from Wacken open air 2019. I'd say Noora does just fine 😅 I just saw them live a week ago. I'm a huge Noora fan and got some serious chills. It's not just her singing, she also has an amazing presence and charisma.

But you need to check her own songs and the countless collaborations/featuring bands, vocalists, composers etc...to hear her "clean" side. Best Regards From Finland!

I am just glad they didn't get you to listen to Black Ninja as their first song, as most reactors seem to have to do. Noora is a power house, she and the band are very underrated.

Finally ❤️ as someone have probably already said, this was Anton from Beast in Black's previous band before he had to leave them due to musical differences or whatever the official statement said. He wrote all their songs from the first to third albums, at least all the lyrics.
I personally think there is a clear difference in tone from that shift, and I am more fond of the early stuff although some of their later stuff is also great with this song being one of them! I think this latest album is their best produced one until now.
Now my suggestion would be if you choose to explore more of them, you can do every second song from their first three and then from their last three 😊
I suggest for the next one: Out in the streets from their second album or Iron Hand from their first album with their first singer Nitte Valo!
Imo you can't go wrong with any of their songs, especially their second album hehe

I have to laugh about the laces because all white shirt -scenes were filmed on the same day, and while okay, I don't think anyone was caring about the laces anyway, but at that point eeeeeverything was 5-6 hours behind schedule on the filming and at that point had our death lady lost an entire shoe no one would have cared XD
Noora has done an album with another Finnish vocal goddess Netta Laurenne. But first Netta's own band should be checked first probably.

I can hear the similarity to Lita Ford, but I was more reminded of Ronnie James Dio and Lzzy Hale. I could be wrong, but this banger could have charted with the best metal of the 80s and forward.

Battle Beast is a real beast live.
They have said they want to be as big as Nightwish and their shows certainly look like that.
Sabaton and Battle Beast are bands that *always* put out more energetic show than you expected.
They don't crawl to the stage hangoverish like 20th century rockers, they are professional entertainers to the core.

That 'tucking the laces in' killed me. 😂 The band is from Finland, also the Finnish military is conscription based. So, I would guess that many of your viewers can relate to that pettiness, I at least did.

An interesting side track would be Steve'n'Seagulls ft. Noora Louhimo performing a Piece of My Heart by Janis Joplin.
Steve'n'Seagulls is a Finnish band doing bluegrass covers of metal and rock songs and they are *good*.
And Noora is one of the quite limited amount of people who really can do Janis songs justice.
BTW, 'Lou' in Louhimo is pronounced like 'low'. And in Finnish stress is on the first syllable (and to lesser amount third etc), not second like English.
