2011 Ford Fusion Dash Replacement with Metra Dash Kit

The customer came to us and wanted a simple solution for a different stereo system in their 2011 Ford Fusion. At first glance you would think that installing a custom stereo in this car would be extremely difficult if not impossible. This was not the case. We easily popped out the standard dash and replaced it with a new stereo and a Metra Dash kit. This is a simple elegant solution that achieved our goals.

Did you still get to use steering wheel controls with the Metra kit? I’m thinking about getting it. Also, did you keep all other controls and buttons underneath the OEM radio?

Sorry to be 6 months, late, but you can order a Maestro harness that will allow steering wheel controls with most aftermarket units.

You can use a regular line out converter from the cut radio wires so that you can run rcas to the amp
