This episode is so fun and silly. Strange as it is, I like Darcy and Howard as a couple. We will see Byrdie again all grown up in the final two What If episodes voiced by Natasha Lyonne.
I liked this one Wayyyyyyy more than I was expecting. Seth Green and Kat Dennings have great chemistry, and let’s be real “Falling In Love With a Pretty Lady then Going on an Odyssey for Something Stupid” is a perfect Howard the Duck adventure.
It’s okay for an episode to just be a fun ride without any larger implications to the overall story. This is my favorite episode of the season! So silly and fun!
Darcy and howard's Byrdie is going to team up with Captain Carter , Kahorri and storm in the finale . She will be voiced by Natasha Lyonne 6:43 you can see Daredevil and Karen page are also seated for the feast
To me, the best characters in this were the villains. Seeing them give Laufy, Kaecilius, Black Order, & Malekith actual personalities, even if they are more comedic parodies, was really cool, and I kinda want to see them do that with the past underutilized villains
I legitimately loved this episode! I was expecting it to be kind of fun and kooky (like the Party Thor episode that spawned it, which I also loved), but it really got me in the feels, too! The "the Ducks" have such amazingly sweet chemistry! I just want more of their hijinks, and can't wait for at least more Byrdie!
Honestly, I was not expecting to get a sequel to the Party Prince Thor episode from Season 1, but I still enjoyed this as well as your reaction to it. Happy Holidays, The Movie Couple!
So I haven't seen what if just been watching you guy's reaction and I must say it seems very interesting and creative! I absolutely love the interesting paths that some of our favorite characters take in this show! So interesting!
fury out makes sense thor and loki were thousands of years old, the difference in their relationship would cause a lot of stuff to be different including earth
In the states I think dependent on parents money? So superhero was like Superman, Batman, X-Men, Spider-Man and Ninja Turtles since they were on public television. And Howard The Duck then because there was a movie around and it kind of seemed like a thing parents would sit their kids in front of albeit some questionable content (that was played up in this). I was sort of confused about the direction here and the best I came up with is this is a snub at the critics since all the things jumbled into this episode are things the critics panned about Marvel including the very aspects of that old Howard The Duck film. Strung across this nice basic parenting plotline. In fact I noticed the choice Kiss song is the one both the critics and Kiss themselves panned and I think that was intentional given the theme here. As usual I don't care about investment and actually like how this show is loose and is just sort of a fun treat. This one was pretty scattershot for a bit and started to feel like Robot Chicken and knowing Seth Green is on set. Whatever though. It's a fun time and not here to earn an Academy or something.

It's a Christmas episode. Parents, messiah, convergence (star), lodge (manger). Gonna be a classic.
"Fury OUT!" The cast clearly had a blast recording this one.
For sure!
I love how this series has been keeping the same vibe as the what if comics I remember growing up. This one had me cracking up.
All the hijinx

Goldblum was voiced by Matt Friend, a comedian who specialises in impressions.

If we had another season I wouldn't mind seeing The Ducks make another appearance

This episode should’ve been called “What If…The MCU Became Futurama”. Seriously it looks and feels like an early season episode of Futurama.
Byrdie is the real Marvel Jesus! 😂😂😂
haha
Can't Wait for Deadpool meet Her.
Hope you had great family time for Christmas @TheMovieCouple. I wonder how powerful Howard and darcy's baby is going to be!!!! Looks pretty powerful.
