- I stayed at The Twin Fin Hotel. It is located across the beach on Kalakaua Ave.
This hotel is newly remodeled , previously known as Aston Waikiki Beach. I really enjoyed the views of Waikiki Beach from there, you can see Friday Night Fireworks from ocean view rooms . I had a junior suite on 25th floor. It is a budget friendly 3,5 star hotel , you can find good deals via Costco. I am sharing here experience of my stay.

Great hotel, awesome location, friendly staff, good price(s). Stayed there just before refurb and change to The Twin Fin last September, going back end of August. By the way, the beach across from the hotel with the enclosed swimming area isn't Waikiki Beach it's Kuhio Beach, Waikiki Beach is actually further up the road. Enjoyed your video, thanks.
We were there the same time you were (March 15-23). Had an oceanfront room on the 16th floor. Great views! We also watched the fireworks from our lanai.
Have you ever gone to Hilton Hawaiian to see from up close ?
No I haven't. It was only our 2nd time in Hawaii.

Stayed there on my Honeymoon in the early 80's when it was The Holiday Inn Waikiki. Nice Hotel. Had a Great Restaurant called The Captain's Table upstairs.

@@blondebeachvibes I believe it was on the 2nd or 3rd floor. In 1969, I stayed at the Park Shore Hotel with my Parents, which is right next door. They used to start driving in the Pilings early in the morning when they were building the Holiday Inn Waikiki which woke us up all week!😄

Yes, we've stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort three times in a row and it just looks and feels richer with pools, coi fish, shows and fireworks. This hotel is like a sad apartment building compared to Hilton Hawaiian Village. My wife wants to go back, but I'm kinda tired of the same hotel, so I'm drooling over Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa. The best value though, in my opinion, is Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.

I absolutely agree ,unfortunately that's pretty much what all hotels charge in Waikiki
Hi, that's that's the highest fee I saw. I'm looking at $25 fee at a nearby hotel on the beach; planning a trip for March, it's been years !
Uhh I'm here right now in a "premium king ocean view" and this hotel SUUUUUUUCKS. The AC and fridge are both broken, guest services doesn't answer the phone, and instead of handing everyone a brochure with their WiFi info, they slide over a laminated sheet with the info and want you to take a pic of the instructions. I cannot wait to get out of here!
Oh no ! Im so sorry!!! I only stayed there 2 nights. I know having issues like that on your vacay is really frustrating! I really hope it improves 🙈! Are you moving to a different hotel or just going home ?
