I stayed at Hyatt Place in Chicago and it also had the bleach smell. Had the front desk change rooms and the next room was better yet the room felt dingy and dirty.

Cool bike ride. Looks like you had fun! Sadly though, Oahu road rage is real. Please be careful, road rage here will often times end up with someone getting hurt. 🤙 And yes, car break-ins are sadly a common thing in Hawaii and those criminals will never stop since our laws will likely not change.

Why not it covers

The drivers aren't stupid, you need to get more on the shoulder of the road. I'm a local cyclist - but don't think you own the road, it'll get you hurt. The hospitals see a great amount of people who take advantage of "having the right of way". Don't be a Karen on the road. Be courteous to the drivers and they will try to be patient but when drivers see someone deliberately not staying close to the shoulder, that's when trouble starts.
