You're overestimating him. Jaden didn't directly defeat Ragnos. Tavion's body was drained by Ragnos because he was too much for her body to handle. Jaden then took advantage of the situation and destroyed the scepter, which was the only thing keeping Ragnos in the realm of the living. He explains this to Luke and Kyle outside the tomb. However, to become a Jedi Master you need to train a Padawan to a Jedi Knight. Jaden did successfully train his own Padawan, Marr-Idi Shael, to Knighthood over the course of several years and was granted the rank of Master after he helped Han Solo and Princess Leia countering a plague caused by Abeloth. However, he refused a seat on the council because he had an ambition to become a Jedi Historian.

Then he gets his own duology of books called Crosscurrent and Riptide (a third one was planned, but that was before the EU was purged). Then he appears in a minor role in the Fate of the Jedi series. As for Kyle, his most prominent roles are in the Dark Forces games, the Jedi Knight games and the Fate of the Jedi series. There's also a story taking place during the Yuuzhan Vong War where Kyle goes missing and his girlfriend Jan teams up with Jaden and Rosh to find him, I can't remember the name though. There might be more, but I'm not sure.
@@mouse7965 Luke would put up a good fight because he is an extremely powerful Jedi but he's still going up against one of the most legendary ancient Sith Lords to ever exist. IIRC Marka Ragnos was one of the few known Sith Lords to die of natural causes during a time where many powerful Sith were prevalent. Even on his deathbed his constituents still feared him. I love Luke but Ragnos is one bad dude.

Just fight patient. Watch for the scepter you glow and then jump away when it does. Time your strikes and aim for the back. I beat it my first try using the staff
Haha, lighting, drain and grip are where it's at. And if you have a good aim, leave lighting at level 2, the lighting bolt is narrow, but much longer range. Sith sniping baby.
@@DarthSpock1 Drain's overrated, I tested it between Level 3 Heal and Level 3 Drain, Heal's much better. Heal, Grip, and Lightning are the go-to options, with Absorb so that then you just don't have to deal with Sithspit idiocy. Or Kyle in general if you're doing Dark Side.
@@weasel003gaming7A little late to the party but still, Drain is more efficient with the use of force and has Overheal, of course there are times where Force Heal is better but the saving of points in Force and Overheal They can save you in a fight, especially on max difficulty where you only have 50 health.
When I played I feel like final battle for dark side against Kyle is much harder.
