All the orange is screaming Rogue One to me. I love Papa Pooz being the one to say "Subtle is always better"! Justin did an amazing job on the chair design. I love the subtle stripes better.

It's a "traveller's crease." It's an intentional fold that helps avoid needing pressed when the trousers are put into a suit bag.
A pleat is the folded over portion stitched in at the waist band that makes overlapping fabric. The extreme of the pleat is the back of a kilt with 100s of pleats.
Worked in men's clothing for years and I can second this. The crease is usually the result of having dress pants pressed and can act as a guide when folding/hanging them. I wouldn't day the crease is fashionable more a of keeping your appearance looking professional. An advantage of the crease to is that the pants constantly stays looking crisp, even when slightly rumbles and it can elongate the leg, give the man the illusion of being taller.
We actually offered a service in my store where we would make the creases permanent by running a line of "glue" on the inside of the crease. This keep the crease from fading over wear and made it easier to clean them (no more dry cleaners basically).

“Less is more”. Bobby is right (can’t believe I said that). Way too much paduk accents going on with the chair you guys chose. Go with the muted back slats and come up with a better way to mimic the leg cuts of the table on the legs of the chairs. Get rid of the banding on the sides and across the top. Then put a logo on it somewhere. Maybe a small one on the seat frame? Inside being paduk is awesome!
or just give customers a choice to customize them the way THEY like it

I’m not the biggest fan of the color inlay on the side of the chair but it seems as though i’m in the minority. it’s definitely in line with the wyrmwood style.

Very nice work on the chairs! They look fantastic. Tough call on the extra details, hopefully with multiple chairs assembled it will make that more clear.

The dart at the top is such a strong design choice!
Imo subtlety begets quality and sophistication. Something can be striking but it rides the line of tacky and can be tiring to look at. I like the logo on the back with every other choice leaning towards the subtle.

I love the solid back slats, the laminated slats looks too much like layered plywood which doesn't feel premium and too busy.
You guys should laser-cut a brass logo and inset it on the lower back of the chairs, or on the front of the bottom. I like the logo but personally would prefer chairs without it at the table. That would look classy but also be lower-key. And the brass would match basically any wood.
If I was getting a “throne” like Crazy Ed built previously, I would get the logo on the back of that one.
I would potentially centre the dart from the top of the chair to the table top, so when the chairs are tucked away it is nice and balanced.
Love to see other prototypers.
I'd say you could put the shield when you open up the chair storage its on the inside of the lid.

the chairs look great, I personally don't like the Inlay on the sides of the back. idk it think it would just look sharper without it.
Left one looks good, although the straight line on the side looks a bit weird on the curvy back. Both chairs look very old fashioned, but I guess that's your style.
4:25 What about doing the leg detail like the table? I think that'd look much sharper than the side inlays.
I personally don't like those at all tbh, feels really out of place, everything else is mirrored somewhere else which makes these things parts of a whole, even the shield.

For the side of the chairs... Why not make laminate the sides and then cut INTO the wood which would leave a groove of colors.
I would love to see a warlock version of this one day (ziricote with purple heart accents).
I feel like the diamond on the side would look very sharp if it ran down all the way to seat, and then just the top had that diamond end. That would make it feel less top-heavy, and you still see it above the the seats.
isn't the Signature Series some sort of celebration to craftsmanship? the dart might be more tedious in production but it gives the chairs their Signature Series pop!

Why don't the prophecy chairs allow you to add a display vault/screen insert? In the top bar or wide middle slat.
I think the darts on the side of the chair is to small to match the table. I like the banding on the aide of the chair and at the top of the head of the chair. I also would probably move the shield up to the top of the chair.
Honestly I really don't like all the stripes everywhere on these signature pieces, it makes them look cheap and ugly. It's like, do you want your beautiful hard wood table to look like it's wearing a tracksuit? No, no I don't think I do thanks.
For the storage in the chair, would it be possible to add a felt or leather to the area rather than wood? I'd feel better storing a tablet or laptop in there if it had a liner.
High end brands don't draw attention to their logo. it should be somewhere subtle. The table quality should be so good that people wonder who made it and look for the logo.
Having purpleheart inside the chair storage area would protect it's color from the Sun UV so it should last longer.
If you're doing the Sigma series, you need to do the Ligma series. The sell through will be insane.
Doug, suspenders are clipped on. Braces are buttoned on. Those are braces.
Love the chairs. Not sure the darts are necessary if they add a lot of cost. Though tbh I likely will never be able to afford any of this anyway.

I think the darts are the weakest element. The rest of the chairs feel really high. The darts feel like too samey with the leg. Carrying too many elements across and taking away the special feeling of the leg miter reveal.
What happened to the CAP dice towers? Will we ever get an answer? Did you not have time, did the prototypes not turn out well, or was there just too much already stuffed into the diceapalooza party? The world may never know....
