Usually this phrase is translated into english as 'sons of bitches' (hijos being the plural of hijo, son in english). I believe the translation would be like 'Dogs sons of bitches' (? or something to that effect. Note: the word 'puta' actually means something more like whore than bitch.

I speak Spanish fluently. (european Spanish) and it burns my ears. Who was the Spanish dialogue coach for this movie? I could have done a better job at it myself, lol. Seems like it was done in a day. The Russian part I can't really vouch for. My Polish is kind of better to an extent.

My favorite scene in the movie. As a Colombian, I love how he calls him Raoul and then later calls him Alejandro. And then calls his men Alejandro. It's like the cast didn't notice the Spanish errors. Gets me every time.

Brendan Frazier is such an underrated actor. He has made some questionable roles but he definitely has good comedic timing. Would have been nice if they would have brought his character back for the mummy and have them be the connection between all those monsters.

Comparto su opinión, esta peli es una muy buena sátira y a diferencia de filmes y series como "señor y señora Smith o narcos" uno se ríe con con ganas de esa realidad alterna donde Elliot resulta ser una parodia de Pablo Escobar (se mofan de un clishe de forma sana sin ofender a nuestro país) . Saw this movie with my parents in Mexico when I was 10. The entire audience broke out laughing during the entire scene. I have yet to see another comedy movie after this one that replicates the same fun atmosphere. The best part of it was how good Fraser's Spanish actually was. Usually, Hollywood movies force actors to deliver this strange accent, even when they are native speakers. Never got why, though.
Strange that Brandon's Spanish is so atrocious, but the three sentences he said in russian were spot on. Would have thought it would be the other way around.
