The fairness of the hull is simply amazing. The inside is painted gray. What sort of paint is it? Primer? Epoxy? Did you sandblast the hull prior to priming it?

after SA2.5 grade sand (grid) blasting,inside first coat is zinc rich epoxy then acrylic topcoat white paint.hull coating started SA2.5 then epoxy mastic. epoxy putty and acrylic top coat.

Kaplamalar CNC değil. Cok ince saçla once kalıp,sonra bu kalıba göre 4mm saç kaplama.
Do not understand why they are using steel all the way through. This is a lot of extra weight for only a 46' hull. Wonder why there is no 4th installment posted? Perhaps the hull did not turned out to be sea worthy?
@tk2012A, its much better to do whole boat using steel then to do aluminum/steel mix as there's thing called galvanic corrosion and every bit of aluminum has to be electrically isolated from steel to prevent an corrosion of aluminum...
Someone is going to make a fortune samping out 35 foot lightweight steel catamarans. Yes steel is heavier than wood or fiberglass,and aluminum. But using lightweight structures the difference wouldn't be impractical. This is a beautiful boat but its built heavy and stronger than a private cruising boat needs to be.
Is there a website from which I can learn more about this method of hull construction? Is the skin fiberglass? The cranes reaching into the building to roll the hull is very impressive.

Kevin Hornbuckle looks like the skin is steel. you can see all the welds between the skin and frame structure

it was totally different. welding is too complicated with alu.
And my knowledge is no good enough about alu.
