What's that thing you have at the top of the neck towards the headstock? It is for reducing open string noise like the way most people use a cloth? If so, where'd you get it, it looks pretty cool.
+AlexRocksGuitar Hey man, thanks for the comment! it is called fretwrap I suppose, to cut overtones and sympathetic resonance during recording. You can find it on amazon or ebay: www.amazon.com/Gruv-Gear-FW-3PK-SM-FretWraps-Dampeners/dp/B00FNEB9XU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454625590&sr=8-1&keywords=fretwrap
@@fishl.1585 thanks. I dont know much about guitars but I wanted to learn and ive been trying to figure out how Dan Estrin got the sound that he did since its probably my favourite. Aside from his own, yours was the closest I've heard.

Looks like it's one of those sweat guard things people use on their wrist but I could be wrong
Is it standard or drop D, looks like you're doing some one finger power cords and it's throwing me off
The Low E is definitely dropped to something
What pedal do you use here?
This was straight from a Yamaha THR10x, dry guitar sound, no effects no pedals.
