Recently found my love for chess. I'm 42years old and I can't stop playing it at the moment. But it is very exhausting. And it's sad to know that because of my age I will never be able to become as good as (for example) you are. But your videos definitely help getting there.👍 I like the tempo/pace of your explanations. Do you think it's ok to play the same opening over and over again or should I learn different ones as early as possible? Also, could you make a video about what to look for and the whole strategy when playing white or black?
Thanks! If you’re a beginner player, focus on mastering one opening to build confidence and understanding. Repeating an opening allows you to deeply understand the resulting positions, typical plans, and key pawn structures. As you grow, slowly diversify to gain broader chess knowledge and adaptability. Remember, understanding is more valuable than memorization♟️As White, you have the first move, which means you can set the tone of the game. The goal is to take the initiative and play for an advantage. As Black, your first move is about neutralizing White’s initiative while looking for counterplay. Your strategy is often more reactive 💪
Yes that was really useful thanks
Yo it's Arturs Neiksans
