I found out something really cool recently with Hot Shots Tennis that I never noticed before. There are courses in that game which contain characters spectating From BOTH the NTSC and Japanese releases of Hot shots golf 3 and fore at the same courts, meaning that BOTH rosters are in the same universe. Pretty damn cool

Everybody's Golf... Had... A very different approach to the characters and the gameplay and kinda suffered for it. The fact that eventually every player's character could become a carbon copy of one another with no definitive strengths or weaknesses was a mistake.

@@Metroid22540 Didn't think I'd find someone that agreed that custom characters actually hurt the game. I really wasn't feeling that for the game and it's why I didn't get into it all too much. Not an awful game by any means though.
I loved the older games not only for the games, but the charm it had with its characters mainly. Even in the first and second games, where they don't even speak. I still loved that. It's not as special in the latest game.
