    Only in Hollywood can one catch a sharp blade Boomerrang and not get their fingers cut off. Remember " Road Warrior"( US title) film?

    The first "magic" is the angled shape: With only two wings, the bend means that the mass around the center of gravity and the pivot point is distributed in such a way (in more than one axis) that the rotation is stable. Without a bend, a boomerang wouldn't rotate, or you would have to have at least three wings, which was unnecessarily complicated to produce in prehistoric times. Curved branches are easy to find.

    Excellent, but might've mentioned war boomerangs, which don't come back! They were heavy, wide, thrown low to skip along the ground and break the oppositions' legs.
