    This case is truly fantastic and the fans are excellent. I built a brand new PC for my wife using this case and upgraded just the core internals of mine (motherboard, cpu, ram). During the build process I got so jealous of this amazing case that I went back to get one for myself too :)
    This was my first new case in about 9 years and I have to say that I am *thoroughly* impressed with just how far budget cases have come!

    Having bought one for myself to substitute my aging Zalman Z11 plus, I gotta say that in terms of air flow this thing can push!. I get better temps with the 216 than with my old Z11 completely open. I have had it for almost a year now and having build around 20 PC's for mostly friends I can say I LOVED building and cleaning this case, it is easy, accessible, practical and you can tell there was thought put into its design. Easily hands down best out of the 3 cases I have ever owned.
    Now for my 3 complains... 1 - I wish the fan in the back had arbg but no biggie, the fan is quiet and does its work well out of the box, also very easy to replace.
    2 - The whole power button thing that you can move to the side of the case its tricky because it is a VERY TIGHT fit for the cables, wish there was a bit more space between the fans and the chassis for an easier swap, not an issue if you leave the power button on top.
    3 - My BIGGEST complain, the HDD shroud does NOT come with a anti-vibration rubber and the drawer thing where the HDD goes has some wiggle so whenever the HDD ramps up, you will listen to it loud and clear due to the side also being meshed. Yes, I am aware I do use it with my old backup HDD that is 10 years old and it is naturally noisy by now but I did not had this issue in my 10 year old case. I had to buy rubber pads and use some leftover black sponge to be able to eliminate the vibration noises. I am sure newer HDDs will be quieter but considering there are 2 different vibration points I am positive you will listen to some degree of vibration. Lian Li could have included some rubber pads inside the little tool box that comes inside the case and it wouldn't have cost them all that much.

    I got the case and should have it shortly...I am torn on cooling...I have always used air, with Noctua and such, but I am getting a i7 14700K and I do ZERO gaming, but I am a photo editor and very very light video. 95% photo, Photoshop, Lightroom all day/night. And I am running 6400 GsKill DDR5 2x48gb. So I will likely OC it moderately. But summers get warm and my office temp hits 80 a month or 2 out of the year. Otherwise I keep it arounf 70-78 F. I just ordered the Thermalright Phantom Spirit air tower, and a Arctic LiqFreeze III 360. I got them to test them...But maybe you already have an idea if I need one for sure vs the other?

      Het man, you can turn the lights off by holding the mode button on the case, it will turn the lights off completely. Regarding the RPM (speed of the fans), classic way through the bios, but if you do not know anything about this I suggest you google for fan curve bios settings, it will be easier that way for you to understand 👍

      Are you happy with the noise levels? I'm currently running my system in a define c which has incredible sound dampening with noctua fans. So I hear nothing. However that's also a 8700k which had a tdp 95w. My new build is a 12900k so thermals will be an issue in that case.
      Obviously I will not achieve zero noise like I do now but would you say the 160mm fans here are bearable under load?

    • @LevelUPGamingTech
      @LevelUPGamingTech  9 месяцев назад +2

      Stock fans are enough to get you started, first I would advise you to upgrade your CPU cooler, preferably get an AIO, that way you can mount it up top and have 3 exhaust fan at the same time, with 1 shot you got rid of extra set of fans and better cooling for the CPU, thus needing no more fans 😁
      If you go the AIR cooling way, consider adding at least 1 x 140mm fan up top, but with that CPU I would suggest an AIO, 360 size is preferred, but 240 or 280 will work just fine
