- UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.

Finally, someone (or in this case, a duo) who managed to mix several types of games (again, in this case, retro) into ONE. Someday, I'd like to do something similar, but I need to learn how to program first. XD

I've got to admit, I always thought this was a terrible idea (quantity hiding quality, perception of "mini-games", memories of awful compilations from years past) but after watching this trailer, I think it's great! Can't wait to play it!

Derek Yu bringing another just quality game to life. He is like the godfather of roguelights the difference is he does them better. The Rogue Legacy 2 team is exceptional in thet genre as well.

The development of this game took nearly as long as the lifespan of the fictional UFOSoft company.
This is my most anticipated game, not of the year, but of the decade. Forget sprawling open world AAA behemoths that promise everything and deliver the same thing you've seen a million times, THIS is what I want out of gaming! But I'm an old head.
Bring it to consoles! 🙌🙏

The wait was killing me so I had to impose a self limit on checking for news updates only every 6 months or so for the last few years.
