I think a slim profile would be better; still detailed, but slimmer as to maximize functionality 😊

Now everyone love the B plot. But the thing that had me rolling with laughter was the Murray light breaking C plot. His reaction when the light breaks at first. And seeing him covered in masking tape when Jazza walks in just had me laughing out loud.
Dave and Jenn made this just that much better as Team Rocket

This is epic! I love the creativity, the energy, and the passion (and the TR skit) I've also been hoping Pokémon would make a resurgence! I am looking forward to seeing the end result and of course, the process along the way!
My sons have been Pokémon fans since the beginning (29 & 31 now) but they quit about 5 or 6 years ago, getting rid of all their cards. Little do they know I have kept every single card. All of them, dating back to the start. I will share the completed video series with them and see what they think. Thank you Jazza and Co.
This video was hilarious and brought me back to the joy of my childhood of watching Pokémon with my brothers on Saturday mornings! The art is amazing and Dave and Jenny have “stolen” the show 😂. As for what to do with the arena I think you should find a happy medium of the two ideas that you suggested Jazza. Go a little thicker/taller with the sides to allow a bit more play with the details but also keep it playable/functional. I can’t wait to see part 2!
I agree with some others that with the high wall of the briefcase it could be very uncomfortable to rest your arms. Also i'md really hoping the briefcase is like a pop-up book with the stage

I recommend you make slits for your forearms to rest on the arena. Also I think you should make the arena big and wide

Ahhh this video is so fun!! I LOVE the Team (Tabletop) Rocket bit, it's very funny and the perfect amount of cheese! Also can we talk about how fabulous everyone's hair is?! 🤩I like the slim look of the box, it sells the card idea. I think if it were too deep it would start to look like a book. Arena Ideas!
Keeping it slimmer makes it more portable, so I thought of a way to incorporate a little more space for the arena while also keeping it slim.
Here's how
The model of the arena that will sit in the middle can be made of two parts (probably even 3D printed). But, the arena is cut in half through the middle of the long side of the arena. When the whole thing is stowed away, the two parts would be pulled away from each other along the same axis as the shorter length of the box. Then, the two halves would be rotated 90° from their connected position. It wouldn't be difficult to have a small channel in the box that guides the movement of these two pieces by an underside pin.
Assuming a 5:6 ratio for the rectangle of the arena, and assuming a max of 6cm for the entire width of the closed box, the largest arena you could fit in this manner would have a width of (5.8cm x 2) 11.6 cm or about 4 3/4 inches. However, we could also add a 3rd middle section and increase it by another 5.8cm for a total max width of 17.4cm, or about 7 inches. Using the 5:6 ratio mentioned earlier, this would give us a matching length of 20.88cm or 8.4 inches.
Let me know if you want me to make some Fusion 360 CAD models or drawings. I'm really good at mechanical engineering and creating/visualizing complex 3D objects in my mind. (like, actually been tested for it and scored so high on that part of the IQ test that the rest of the tests were invalidated)

I remember getting my first charizard card back in 98-99ish, I had just bought a brushfire theme deck a week after I got my 2 player starter deck, but when I bought the bushfire deck, I bought 10 booster packs, and in the first pack I opened, I got the o.g. charizard, I ran home. Broke down my 2 decks, and made a bangin fire deck. We didn't have all the crazy stuff back then that we have today obviously, it was base series, even before the jungle theme released. Those were the days. I can't keep up with everything anymore
