Great video,quick question man,i have change both shocks and mounts but there is a friction noise coming from front lef,it sounds like mount(rubber) and body friction,any ideas?

When you say a friction noise is that like a rubbing noise or a knocking noise? Im guessing it was not there before??

So I have a snapped spring on front same car. It Carnt pop out giving the design of the shocker and spring. Macferrson. The car skips about when driving over bumps I’m questioning it’s the snapped spring too blame🤔 if you agree I’m following your tut too exchange it. Thanks for any feedback

Hello when you say it skips about does the steering go loose if so i would jack it up and check for steering linkage play, but if it is more of a suspension knock i would check anti roll bar or wishbone connections for play. I have known broken springs to cause noises depending where the spring sits but in most cases people don't usually notice a broken spring. Hope this helps

@@Martysworkshop yeh I agree I didn’t even know it was broken. At first. There are no knocks bangs of any kind. But the steering does go light as you say when it happens🤔

Steering linkage. That the same thing as track rod end

Yes inner/outer track rods and bottom ball joints can affect steering.

@@Martysworkshop thanks Marty So just the basic. Jack wheel off floor and do the top bottom of wheel for any play in ball joint. And 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock for any play in track rod ends🤔
