- Once again I'm making a different type of video with a different format, but this is something I really wanted to talk about.
Will this format stick? Will I ever go back to just making meme videos? Who knows.

They were amazing villains, with one of my favorites being Ratigan from Great Mouse Detective.
It feels weird to say that the last great Disney villains didn’t come from a movie but from a video game series, Kingdom Hearts with Xehanort and maybe the Master of Masters.

It was nice to see Disney evolve but it’s not okay for them to change the arcs of a villain. We need more villains that cause the conflict alongside their villain songs.

I know this one is a little different from everything else I've posted but hey, you never know what you're gonna get with me.
Shere Khan, Scar, and Buster from Lady and the Tramp were my favorite Disney villains. Lord Shen is my favorite DreamWorks villain; Drake and Ludmilla were my favorite Don Bluth villains; and finally, Steele from Balto is my favorite Universal villain.
@@DaughterofAnubis Lord Shen is super underrated. Death is of course also top tier for Dreamworks.
When it comes to modern villains and songs, gotta love Tamatoas Shiny. But I totally agree with you. Erika and I loved this video ❤❤❤

I respectfully disagree with Gothel being the last. In my book, King Candy is who I'd consider the last great Disney villain. Yes, he's lumped in with twist villains, but the twist doesn't come from him being a bad guy because we already know from the outset that he's a jerk and the villain, plus we get to see him acting like a total jerk throughout the movie. The twist comes from his true identity. King Candy is definitely one of my favorite Disney villains, especially compared to others from the modern era.

A mix of traditional villains, twist villains, and no villain is better than just any of the three dominating the landscape. Traditional villains just don't work for certain kinds of stories. Zootopia is my favorite Disney movie, and it has a twist villain that I think is really well executed for the crime mystery plot of the story, but they get unfairly criticized in large part because multiple Disney movies in a row before it misused the twist villain+the long traditional villain drought. Lilo and Stitch is another favorite, and it doesn’t really have a central antagonist.
Balance is key

I mean I love these villains and I love more modern takes on the villain or no villains etc. Diversity is the spice in life. So having only one or the other would get tiring aswell. So yeah bring them back!! But don't get rid of all the other stories
I think my favourite Disney villain is Gaston, but then again Beuty and the beast is my favourtie Disney movie so Im ight be basic af on this lol

Can we add Zira from the lion king 2 to the worst mother ranking too? because training an adoptive son to be just a killing machine and seeing your own fleash and blood son die before you while trying to impress you cause you neglected him in comparison and literally just using his death to rally your troops without caring about him in the slightest is quite a thing....
