I've got an easy combo as long you have a upward diagonal assist like Crescent Scythe or Shadow Blade. X, Y, B, F+B x4, A (hold to go airborne,) X, Y, B, B or X, B, B (make sure you land and use the assist before the target lands -this'll keep them airborne and unable to block if timed right) F, D, DF, ATK + ATK. You'll snatch the opponent in the Divine Instruments super just after the assist connects. Don't let the assist juggle them as they can recover in mid-air.
I find one of the quickest ways to get lots of damage on the opponent is to approach the end of a reflector or glaive chain, XF cancel, and restart, especially if Ammy is forced to be your anchor.
Ammy is a really good anchor, she used to be one of the best. She's got a couple infinites to work with in XF and XF cures her otherwise lackluster damage
Great work you're doing here Honzo. A lot of good shit out there but it's buried on 32 page 1 year old threads. Great to see a modern condensing of it.
Is it possible to do a slow super during a combo to ultimately get more damage? Like maybe after that jumping charged glaive attack that causes the HUGE ground bounce?
Yeah she needs a little more damage output. Oh well she's one of the best x factor characters, versatile, low on ground and has an amazing assist so it's good.
Love the vid. Thanks for doing these. BTW, I have one for you off of Ammy's counter. Shield Counter > slight airdash xx Sword > Thunder Edge Stab OTG xx Shield > H > fr.H xx Sword > MH > L Thunder Edge > S > TK Okami Shuffle 570k
my question (please answer) is, do you play on a fight stick or pad? i play on a ps3 controller and its horrible. hardly recognized my motions (joy stick) and the joystick feels too loose compared to xbox computers
with assists? yes, solo might have a really obscure and difficult way, but slow during a combo isn't very good due to scaling. Neutral slow into slow combos do good damage though since you can basically just go into glaive and thunder edge infinite in slow, does around 800kish I think.
Hey Honzo I was wondering if you could explain how to avoid airdashing backwards when doing a backwards air throw. Is the timing more strict because she has to turn around after the throw?
Dunno if you got your answer, but you hold forward and press M or H repeatedly. You have to time it otherwise the next attack will whiff, and I don't think it's possible to chain this into a combo without your opponent suffering from tons of stun.
I use pad on PS3 and it works far better than stick for me. I have a stick also but dropped it in preference for my pad. I cut the fingers off a cheap pair of gloves and wear it over my thumb to smooth motion and I use only my index and middle fingers to press buttons.
er moves are used better on an arcade stick also your opponent won't have a chance to hit you with those combos. X3 Wish I could pull those off but your way to skilled.I work better with the Xfactor and Level 3 combos though.Still trying out the rest though.
Playing on Joy stick for PS3 and Xbox is bad. There are interface moments where commands cannot be recognized. Use the D Pad unless you're planning in getting one of those pro arcade sticks.
The point of using pad is to use the PAD. Don't ever use the analog stick. I play on a ps2/3 pad and I can do everything just fine. I mean look at Fanatiq. If you practice you're good with anything. However I agree, once you learn stick it's just eaiser.
Just finished replaying Okami and oh my god... I feel bad for the demons in Okami now if this is how it looks to them! Severe Divine Punishment!
My geez, that riff when performing the Okami Shuffle is satisfying.
My favorite part was x-factor ARF... ARF... ARF... ARF... ARF.... ARF (swing to the left).... ARF (swing to the right) ARF ARF ARF.... ARF.
Combos starts as soon as u press play. ALL COMBO VIDEOS CAN LEARN FROM THIS.
Ma-ma-ma-MAXIMUM!

Fun fact: After you launch someone first time into the air through ground combo if you instantly M&M
In future vids, can you turn the max meter off you we can see the meter gain from these combos?
Great work you're doing here Honzo. A lot of good shit out there but it's buried on 32 page 1 year old threads. Great to see a modern condensing of it.
the point to subscribing is so you wont miss the videos though, I don't understand youtube !

Remember people, after Okami shuffle, use the glaive dive, cancel into disk, j.h, then go low for a free easy mixup!
Thanks for making this video, helps a lot people trying to get into this game. Good stuff at SCR.
woops forgot counters, yes counters are same as airgrabbing with reflector stance I'll add it to the descrip
Kool I'm looking to pick her up and this gives some pretty kool combos from beginner to advanced. Good shit man thx.
Love the vid. Thanks for doing these.

For future vids, could you turn "show inputs" on? Would help get the timing down.
Honzo - this was such a good idea! Keep up the great work, man!
This is super hype, I really want this game!
super hype ? o.o u want this or infinte? cause this u can get anytime (unless u dont have money) .
For combo 7, i for the life of me cannot get st.H to connect after fully charged stun edge. Any tips?

SRK posts them around 20 hours after I up them, plus I'll be doing other content not on there
Great stuff Honzo :)
whos getting styled now Dante?
whos getting styled on now?
3:33 goes with the music lol
I use a custom arcade stick. You can use anything tbh, stick is just easiest once you learn it imo.
Thank you so much, all i used to do with ammy was spam heavy now i can do some combobobobobobobs
like these vids a lot, keep'em up
Thanks for the help mate. Your execution is class. If you ever get time to make a Morrigan combo video i'd be super grateful. Subbed :)
This was amazing thank you

Wow! How do u do that 3 hit sword swipe attack with amaterasu

I do weird motions for moves and I don't want to confuse people. My inputs are a mess.
I use pad on PS3 and it works far better than stick for me. I have a stick also but dropped it in preference for my pad. I cut the fingers off a cheap pair of gloves and wear it over my thumb to smooth motion and I use only my index and middle fingers to press buttons.
amy has a glaive x factor infinite.
i'll love see your inputs in this video -.-'
ARF ARF
This one aggressive wolf
Dammit Honzo I love you!
Thanks for the response.
He's going in alphabetical order.

Heh... By the time were fine executing the XFactor Combos, you're opponents more than likely gonna be dead
Why sub to see the newest videos when SRK will just tell us when something important is up? :I
yes ty
3:40 Maximum Amy!
You can't just mash it out you have to delay it a bit
Show me the RR.
Ammy needs more damage input she is my fave but does to little dmge i wish they raise her power by a little bit...
I made a UMvC3 Amaterasu guide if anyone is interested. It's in my playlist.
