Also, the highest damage combo Sentinel has solo is a variation of the combo at 0:57. You just begin the combo with a air H instead (the stomp) and OMIT the standing M. The resulting meter gain is higher and the damage is 880,300 (compared to 868,300, making it a 12,000 point difference)
The technique Honzo just described is commonly called "wave dashing". It can be done with many characters in UMvC3, but a few characters (Iron Fist, Sent, Wesker, etc) have really good ones that help with their ground mobility.

You can hit a crouching m after the hard drizzy when they're falling. It has a soft knockdown property so if there's too much hit stun sometimes they'll tech out after the rocket punch which is where that'd be useful. Also, you can hit a tk rocket punch before each hard drive for extra meter in the loops.
This technique is called a wavedash. It is done by pressing down as you dash. Most of the cast has the ability to do it. I personally use light and medium to dash, but figure out what works for you. Hope this helps.

I did it in level 3xf, but you could prolly do it in 2 as well just tighter timing. As soon as you land just fly and hit H, you should have plenty of time with the speed up.
Is there a trick to the throw combo at 4:52? I can't link the j.H after the j.S bounce, is it a certain level of X-Factor only/character specific, or is it something like TK fly required, or is it something even more basic than that and I'm just going too slow?
i had the same problem. my workaround was that I jump backwards on the first launch. then hit H and flight to position myself enough distance away from the target to continue the combo but and far enough so that when i land i can jump + rocket punch and still land it even if i'm a little slow on the execution of that part of the combo. let me know if you need further clarification. i got this to work very consistently using this technique
NoZence I believe he's doing a tiger knee motion. That's when you extend your quarter circle motion to a point where you will begin to jump in the air but the move will still come out, basically allowing you to do ariel specials on the ground (Think of it as almost a 3/8 circle motion)
I know you're just trying to be practical Honzo, but have you ever thought of just doing a combo exhibition with like stupid hard situational stuff? That's always a whole lot more interesting.

Mikey Patchy It's because sentinel is a slow character and each hit that lands creates a few freeze frames so fast inputs aren't ass rapingly difficult. I have both games, I think MVC2 is slower
