- Rawlings designs new baseball gloves in its St. Louis area glove lab. Cardinals Insider introduces you to the process and one of the people who spend their days making and testing new mitts.
I won a professional Rawlings Heart of the Hide glove when I was 13, that glove lasted a good twenty years until my roomate lost it! It cost $70 in 1973, when I went to replace it in 2003 it was $300! It was an outfielder's glove and it allowed me to catch almost anything hit or thrown at me, it was awsome!!!
Nice! I have a Rawlings and have used the same glove for 8 years!
Do you still have it after 10 years?

Love Rawlings athletic equipment!
So this guy makes the custom orders in the States? Thought all the production is out of Asia over the last. My newer R9 is made in Vietnam.
