@@SportsDissected Yes I must agree! I LOVE your channel!!! Just subscribed! Every bit of content you have is just SO interesting!!! Keep up the FANTASTIC work!!!
YOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hands down (no pun intended) the best quality glove you can buy. Their leather is like having a pillow on your hand. I'm so geeked to watch this episode.
Dope content as always. I’ve been in and out of baseball and never heard of this glove company. Love when you guys find these gem companies within sports.
I was shocked at the price of the glove when he was customizing it but you really get your money worth with all the TLC they put into every glove by hand
I have never heard of this company before! You guys make some great looking gloves!! Hope you do well with the major leagues, and colleges. If I was young enough to still play baseball, I would definitely get one of these mitts.
Gotta do a unc football or baseball facility tour. The facilities are beautiful and the gear is unlike any program in the country (Except maybe Oregon).
We have had a tour of the factory! It’s a fascinating place! I’ve had relatives that worked there. The ball gloves are the only gloves made in the U.S.
After seeing how these are made I can't believe they only cost around $400. I've used one before, but could never afford my own, wanted one of these since 98, 99. I think I'm finally gonna do it.
I thought they messed up on his glove. But since they are giving it away I'm sure they made that glove to give away and made his actual glove behind the scenes.
It's an amazing video. I'm a RUclipsr who introduces baseball equipment in Korea, so if you don't mind, can I translate this video and upload it? I want to let Koreans know. It doesn't matter if you take the profits from the video. I love the video, and I want to let people know, that be all.
Nokona seems nice in quality, but man, their shape and look is just off. Also, coming from an NCAA guy, I’ve never come across someone actually using one. Would love for em to work out the kinks tho.
Please show the glove better if you ever do anything like this again. The pictures were pretty boring and not enough time to see the details. Maybe do a 360 video slow rotating close up. Inside and outside. Don’t put a border around the video when you do it lol. Otherwise great video.
Please forgive me. I am totally blind. I have no vision whatsoever. Can you please spell out the correct spelling so I can try to find it and purchase egg glove please thank you.
Nakona has carved out a niche in the American glove market. I am sure their products are good. But would I spend $300 on a kid's glove that can be stolen or lost? A Rawlings glove is just as good and much cheaper due to lower labor cost. I probably would buy the off shore glove and pocket the cost savings. But there will be others who will pay up for the Nakona name. They need to maintain a plump marketing budget to reinforce the perception of value.
Damn, there's a video 2 years ago of their factory full of workers. Now they've all been replaced by robots. I guess little company Nokona wasn't immune to the slow economic growth over the last 30 years. But hey, the stock market is doing great at least
How can normal working class families afford a $400 glove? This is why so many are made off shore . I’d rather use a Filipino Rawlings at least they care about the working class.
We infiltrated Stanford's EQ room and dug through every bit of gear you could think of! Check it out here -> ruclips.net/video/P2tlTub-NGM/видео.html
I bet that place smells amazing! Nothing beats the smell of a new leather glove
New truck smell
It was amazing. Our clothes smelled like leather when we left too 🤤
That’s right
That’s why I keep my gloves in my room for a reason

That glove is beautiful! nice spec. Nokona is awesome, Great video man!
Absolutely love this video! I had no idea how much work went into making a baseball glove. Now I know why they’re priced the way they are.
Thanks for watching!
@@SportsDissected definitely! Subscribed as well 🙌🏽
Really cool showcase of this process
I love Nokona gloves. They’re the best.
I actually play for the Nokona 13u Chiefs team in MASS! Really cool seeing how the gloves are made for my team.
Are you guys any good?
Beautiful glove from Nokona
Fantastic educational video on my favorite part of Baseball!
It’s the only glove made in America! It’s a high dollar glove and the quality is unbeatable
I would LOVE to have a job at this place! These look so much fun to make. What a cool, unique, intricate process. That woman is sure good at her job.

👌👌👌👌👌
They aren’t the top dawg. Just the one made in the US.

Okay...what happened to the white lacing?!😱

He said he was getting white laces, did they really mess up his glove?
I didn't notice until you said it, but yes they did lol.
@@MinistryOfMagic_DoM umpires don't like white laces
Worth every penny.
gloves are my passion I love to work with them
These folks are artists. No wonder these gloves are so expensive.
Buenas tardes. Sus productos se ven excelentes. Me encantaría tener un guante de catcher, saludos desde México.
I always loved Nokona gloves as a kid, never owned one. This video has made me want to only buy their gloves now.
My favorite glove I ever owned was a Nokona kangaroo catchers mit that was awesome!
Should do more hockey videos. Checking teams locker rooms, how sticks and equipment is made
We hear you!
sticks. grab wood and then cut it into a shape

SIKKKKK
0:05 Who was pitching 90mph in the late 1800’s lol
i have made custom gloves by hand in my leather shop, doing it like i did is very time consuming and the man hours make the glove expensive
Can we see app state football?
Interesting 🤔
Nocona,Tx
Get rid of the splitting machine that’s why y’all’s gloves are flimsy and don’t stay stiff for years like Wilson rawling and mizuno
I thought they messed up on his glove. But since they are giving it away I'm sure they made that glove to give away and made his actual glove behind the scenes.
Lets thank the latinas for making this glove 👏🏼
What would one of these puppies set you back?
350-400 bucks, just buy a Rawlings or a wilson

they are known for using cheap, thin felt. Wish they could fix that issue.

The only part that can be mechanical is the stitching of the names and logos everything else is 100% made by hand
Stop pounding the glove! We don’t won’t soft gloves only certain spots we soften we won’t most of it to stay stuff so it last
