Nobody...I mean NOBODY who works on baseball gloves has EVER told me that Nokona is the "best glove in the game." Want to call my bluff? What percentage of MLB players use Nokona? Less than 2%?
@@chief1193 That won't wash... Any MLB player can get any brand glove they would like because their team pays for it. And reps will offer players free gloves to try to entice them to switch to their brand. Only a very few players in the League actually get PAID for using a certain branded glove. Nokona is not spending much money to PAY MLB players to use their gloves, so in that you may be correct. But the fact that these players, who can use ANY brand they would like, with their TEAM footing the bill, have traditionally NOT Nokona in over 80 years of it being an option, may give you some idea of the "pro feel" of these great smelling doorstops. If you made your money using a baseball glove, you would not normally select a Nokona as they are notoriously heavy and soft. The only way they last forever is if you don't use them a lot.
@@wagnerbaseballgloverepair6853 Nokona has never furnished any gloves free like most companies.....maybe they should..I've used Rawlings, Wilson, Spalding and Sears' (can't remember what they were called) and recently a Zett (Jap)-----I personally used Nokona in H.S. and college--I still think they are just as good as any glove ever made. It used to be that people would look at you weird if you didn't use a Wilson or Rawlings, it just wasn't done.....but that has changed, hopefully Nokona will keep making 1st class gloves and be profitable for the Storey family. ... and it sounds like you've never used one,or more than likely, never had one on your hand!! lol
Cheers from canada! 10yrs on mine and still going strong.
God bless Texas. God bless America.
And all the people said amen.
I’ma get me one of them ‘Made in Texas’ special edition gloves. Excellent ball gloves, those.
My Nokona is at least 25 years old. I had to replace one lace recently, but they are as solid as they come

Lol, major league players use the gloves that sponsor them. Nakona, isn’t a big enough company to compete with Wilson or Rawlings.
