norfolk southern's old southern main from wdc to atl even down to nol should be improved to handle freight and passenger at 70 between these cities ,I believe 60 is the limit east of the mississippi

Yep, seventy MPH.. Looks like flat terrain, an easy run and it’s likely a Z-train so the only color they’ll see is green. Of those five locomotives I’d bet that only two are on line, the rest being redistributed or transported for repair. Those Z’s were the best because you knew you were going to make it home or to the Away From Home Terminal in a reasonable amount of time. (BNSF Engineer, retired)

I think the Z9 trains run with all 4 or 5 units online usually, but yeah this one was quite short so 2 makes sense.
