I’m so with you. I love Fall scents but I also love August as a “summer month” because it’s usually really nice weather here still. I start stocking up for Fall but don’t start burning until the weather turns. Every time I see that musk picture my skin crawls lol
Hey Greg. I had my eye on that homeworx bamboo candle and I flaked on the sale price. Boy do I regret that 😆 I do like bbw bamboo but it's really intense.
I had purchased Roasted Sesame but every time I smelled it on cold, I never wanted to burn it. Smelled good but a little too toasted and I never felt like having my space smell like that either. I returned it and exchanged it for something else. I’m still really enjoying Bamboo & Eucalyptus and Ginger & Hinoki from that collection. They’re not very strong but man, still so good to my nose! Marshmallows from Goose Creek is pretty nice & has a soft medium strength & throw (6/10) & it burned clean for me. Marshmallows is one of Katie's favorite candles from KatiesJoyfulLife. I literally just brought a lot of my Yankee 2-wicks into my bedroom due to the soft-medium strength & throw. Every now & then I get one that's a strong medium-high throw from Yankee. Butterfly is one of my faves 💜🦋.
Good to know! I think I’ll put it in my next Goose Creek order. Right now I’m halfway done Yankees Lakefront Lodge, and it’s the first in a while that’s done okay in a larger space with no hurricane. I’m also loving your beloved Catching Rays!

I am burning(for the first time) ‘Almond Croissant’. I bought it because it only cost eight dollars. I had heard mixed reviews about it, and I actually dislike almonds, but decided to give it a try. I have to say that I love the scent and it has a strong throw. I don’t know how it will burn halfway through. We will see because I sent for two more. Have you tried it ? The rest of your day sounds better than mine. I am paying bills and doing laundry. Then probably a nap. I enjoy watching your videos so much. Have a wonderful rest of your day!!❤
I have laundry going on today too! There’s always got to be a chore or two. I really liked Almond Croissant because it reminds me so much of almond cookies my mother makes. I did a review of it a while ago.. you should be able to find it in my BBW playlist.
I’d put money on that harsh top note on BB is the grapefruit. I love grapefruits and their scent IRL, but I have yet to find a candle with it that doesn’t turn me off. I think gf just doesn’t work burning or heated.

I did grab the Raspberry Rose candle and I’ve been really enjoying it! Nice, fresh, bright raspberry note. I will definitely do a full review of it in a week or two. Jon Snow can get it.

BBW Bamboo is pretty intense, I always burn that one in a larger space though and find it perfect. The Homeworx one is definitely more gentle. 🕯️💜

I believe Yankee is only discontinuing the signature jar style, but they’ll still have the 2 wick Signature Tumblers 😊
