1961 Article 3 of 4 on Berlin: This is where freedom ends

3 months after the wall had been erected, Mr. Sippel visited Berlin for the paper Aalborg Stiftstidende. The visit resulted in a series of 4 articles and a number of photographs, most of which have not been published before. The articles mainly take place in West Berlin, but they also visit East Berlin. In this article we join a trip around the sector border, talk to border guards and visit, among other places, Bernauer Strasse where people fell to their deaths, trying to flee the communism, as well as the Plötzensee prison where Hitler hung his enemies.
