He’s just undersized and not as good of a 1-1 defender to really fit what Portland’s new identity has been (Big, long, fast players w/ a physical defense & transition style offense)
@@CarloBarlo69 I do love watching Portland when Deni and Camara are both on. I got to see the recent Utah game in person, including Scoot’s game winner. But I don’t think a team without a star has an identity, and I’m not buying Scoot’s shooting or Shae’s passive mentality. I’m afraid it’s another tank season without an end in sight, but I hope I’m wrong, because the home fans are the best.
@@Jon-BEDM Totally get that. And yeah, they’ve been a blast to watch this year I’m happy to hear you’ve enjoyed watching in person too. I like the idea of a Tre Johnson, being an explosive shooter who thrives in transition with his pull-up 3’s, adding much needed spacing with a 6’5 frame and a high release. I know the fit is weird with Shaedon already being the SG/SF but at this point we still need a star and a bucket getter.
im taking him top 5-8. Besides Jakucionis and Harper I can't name another guard that's better than Fears. Better than Demin, Edgecomb, Fland, Traore argue with the film
Not saying u have to philon better than him (I personally think so but to each his own) , but philon is def in that next group with fland and traore and co
Feel like fears has a higher ceiling than philon I see fears as star in near future philon is definitely more polished but I see him being a energetic 6 man coming off the bench for a contender
@ I can def see the offensive potential of Jeremiah fears, but I legitimately think philon is the best perimeter defender in the class and has all defense potential if he puts on a bit more muscle.
@ yea definitely him and edgecombe are the best perimeter defenders in this class I jus feel like philon lacks the offensive ability to be a superstar he definitely going to be a star no doubt
@@Carelesskobe it might just be my philosophy but to me I’d take 6th man/starter offensive play + all defensive caliber defense Over High level starter to legit star offense + average to slight negative defensively. But it’s pretty just about what teams who need a pg value most. Both are very good prospects.
Some of his accel/decel and changes of pace to get to his spots reminds me of SGA.
His style of play, his name, his jersey number...if the NBA media doesn't start calling him Zero Fears immediately it is a tragedy
now thats hard
A lot of intriguing guards for Portland to ignore so it can draft some magic beans.
What magic beans? In Portlands range there should be intriguing help at all positions and skills.

you just know Portland is gonna go stupid and take Essengue 7th overall
3:59 he say shit?
best guard in the draft in 3yrs
No.1 guard in this draft class.

Traore’s gonna be another Killian Hayes
I would take him 4 without hesitation right after Ace. His game is made for the NBA.
I think Ace could fall lower than 3
@ people will see him in workouts and get amazed, it’ll be the Brandon Miller effect
Biggest freshman riser for me
I think he’s a consistent jumper away from being a true starting guard in the league
A lot of Jordan Poole to his game
I'm high on this guy, just think... he's really young and not near finished product. I like him top 5.
Looks a lot like Markelle Fultz before his hitch
Dearron Fox's college stats are very similar...
do you see a guy like tahaad pettiford getting drafted he's nice
Nah with NIL no way
He’s good, but hot take labaron philon is the 2nd best pg in the class (behind dharp of course)

Idk about top 5! He’s more like mid teens
This draft isn't that good bro. Everyone acting like a super draft. He'll go top 10
@@jackbirch6816 i swear you'd think its the 03 draft the way they're talking about it

@@danc7300 let ne hear ur top 5 real quick I want to see something
@ Coop, Harper, Bailey, Egor, Jakucionis
He reminds me hella of Westbrook
im seeing a lil kyrie in bro
Yeah it’s the pace he plays with and pull up game I see smaller Brandon Roy
