Player5 its barely visible in this perfect speedrun. But since he is mostly the current world record holder, this one shows how much room for improvement there still is in a speedrun for this game. This is absolutely incredible.

Right before they ESC (extended shield clip) into cryonis u can see bloodmoon particles come up for a very short amount of time the makes u realise how fast they were going because they almost caused a panic bloodmoon

I love how the whole from mag to paraglider is completely diffrent from a normal run. Also, did anyone notice that the bombs rune is litteraly the only rune they use for the whole run exept for one single time in castle to grab the bow with magnesis ? I guess bombs are just that broken.
Well bombs have always been broken one way or another.

I've actually stopped playing this game and haven't played it for a while (even after grinding NG+ to get both max hylian shields on the same file 3 times). When BLSS was discovered I picked it up again for a bit, but then decided to do a strict no glitches play through and had the most fun I've ever had in years. I love this game so much and we keep seeing its limits tested even 6 years after release. Best game I've ever played. Thank you for putting this together.
its so fun just playing trough the game as intended(exept for wistle sprinting and wind bombing) like doing the devine beasts and stuff is like really fun
May I ask how did you do the both max hylian shields in the same file?
I like to think of Gabon’s point of view during this. His arch-nemesis has just woken up from a 100 coma and has managed to cross half of Hyrule and defeat your 4 strongest minions while still in his underwear in 20 minutes.

I always thought that the bomb launch would make the speedrunners change their approach to the Great Plateau and it definitely did. More than a minute improvement is absolutely incredible. Will we be able to see a sub21 and, more importantly, a sub20 in the future?

I’m sorry to burst your bubble but TerminalMonatge’s speedrun was a time of 4:11 seconds and that is WAAY faster than this. Maybe someday the speed runners will be able to work together to try and beat his record.

Question: I noticed that the path shown from the end of Stasis to the end of Cryonis involved two windbombs and a passage through the cold region. Because of the splicing I couldn't tell how long the cold timer had been going for any given part, so is the optimal amount of time spent in the cold only enough to take half a heart from Link? If it takes a whole heart, this strategy doesn't work for an unspliced run since that adds up to three hearts of damage.

yeah I think that the first one was more optimized for the route, this one uses a relatively new route so it's less optimized

Is it possible to leave the shrine/plateau without actually collecting all the runes, or does the game stop you like how it straight up kills you if you try to leave the plateau without the paraglider? Everyone bomb launches to complete the shrines, and the only other rune used is magnesis to snag the bow, so I was wondering if it was possible to skip the cutscene for downloading cryonis and stasis by not getting them at all.
didnt remember that this was being worked on at all so now i get to just skip the entire waiting period!

Is there proof that the splice at 5:02 is theoretically possible, i.e. that you can windbomb to the general location of the monk from that shieldjump?
Yes, it is just insanely hard, the shield jump is possible, ive Done it myself. The windbomb following is doable after the shieldjump becouse they aim for the right position already in the shieldjump so that they only have to put away the shield and do imputs for a delayed BIL.
I don't see how this could be improved. aside from the half second wasted at the very end not having your bow drawn
