Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. Mine are already in the mail, but I was worried that the motors might not have the power to pull a train. Your demonstrations have given me confidence in their ability.
I wish lego made more stuff for pf rather than switching for a newer system... I mean there was M L XL and Servo. Sure the new motors are all servo capable, but imho while this is nice flexibility. We loose the ability to use more motors in one spot or even the lights. Besides I don't think I wanted to link my technic toys with a phone, considering how past lego software based stuff went (not easy to work with modern OS ) I believe a more standard approach with a controller is better. And have the phone as an option is best... but well they did it anyways...
@@henribg1 yeah. All of my motors are non-Lego brand. Saved a fortune. Especially since they basically don’t make anything anymore. Can’t really find the computer bricks though.
i wonder if this could be good motor to use for steering? to not use servo, but this? it would be more precise i think? for example in mould king, servo is not proportional only 0/1, then this could be slower but proportional
@Kirtechlab but can be centered and used in both direction with controller? Can you make video of micro motor attached to the steering please as I can't find any proportional servo motor, please!!
I got a bunch as well and they are pretty neat! And the price is exceptional! Have you tried some of CaDAs other motors, if not I recommend doing so as they are significantly faster and stronger 😀
you said you got these motors from aliexpress? because on the official cada website they cost $14 which is very expensive, whereas aliexpress has them for $4
@@Kirtechlab yeah if they are stalled too long/often the gears inside slip, in addition the cable is extra sensitive. But if you're careful they will work fine for a long time.😀
@@Kirtechlab hrm more connection I suppose. You know how the integrated cables can get damaged on normal pf motors? It's just more common on these ones. But it's nothing a bit of caution won't prevent

Yes, they have a lot of torque, but probably the speed will not be high for train
@@Kirtechlab the speed should not be a problem. It’s for a Köf II, a German shunter/switcher, which was limited to ~ 30 km/h.

Lego is too busy suing Lego enthusiasts, to have time to develop this

Yes, I also miss PF a lot..
As you said. These are beasts.
this looks like it will be a game changer!
Yes, it looks promising :)
THATS SOME POWER!!!!! - only non-lego lego motor (except the buwizz motor) i'll actually buy. DANG!
Dang. I’ve got two L motors in my Technic Ferrari and I can barely get it to move.
That thing’s got some real power.
i think this will be the first non lego product i will buy to put to my lego :(
i blame lego

bro i needed two buwizz motors to make my technic bugatti to move
Hi, how did you controlled it remotly?
It's stronger than I thought
yes, it's real beast for its size )
Nice comparison!
Thank you :)
Has anyone tried converting one to the new powered up system? I might try.
Plz make a review on the mould king hyperspeed L motor

yes, but without return-to-center

Oh my goodness. I still have the pieces for 6450 somewhere. I'm going to have to make it now 😊

No, I haven't tried yet. But since original Power Functions motors are getting more and more expensive, probably I'll try in the near future :)
Nice Video and I have the motors (x6) too;) because "einfach besser"
Thank you :)
Hi. Great vid. Can you tell me if these small motors will work on 5v. I appreciate it will have a slower turning speed. Many thanks.
Hi, yes I think they will work with slower rotation speed
Some awesome motors! Can't wait to buy some and try them in some of my mocs!
Yes, I like them very much :)
Thanks!
You're welcome :)

yes, aliexpress. wow, very attractive price. I think I paid about 7 $ per motor
Do you really think there will be a new era in motorization in lego?
at this point idk
Lego doesn't care about it, but fans will use it )
Hi am new to all this, what power sourse are you using for motor please ?
Hi! Usually I use BuWizz, I have a video about it: ruclips.net/video/cjtv_CA6wp4/видео.html
I wonder if there are some problems that come up in long-term use of such a small motor,
and maybe those are why Lego didn´t make a new micro-motor?
Who knows, we'll see :) I've already started one model based on these motors.
@@Kirtechlab yeah if they are stalled too long/often the gears inside slip, in addition the cable is extra sensitive. But if you're careful they will work fine for a long time.😀
Regarding the cable - do you mean a bad connector, or bad soldering inside the motor?

Where did you purchase the motors from?
