Tower Bridge. London Bridge is a very plain bridge, and is now in Lake Havasu City, AZ. 😊 And yes, Peter Pan is the BEST! My #1!
A lot of people get that mixed up I did for years until I actually saw the real London Bridge.
I can’t tell you how much your positive affirmations mean to me, Chris. I mean that more than I can say. Last spring when you were doing the series in WDW hotels, I was going through a breast cancer scare and was really having a hard time. I work from home and was able to watch all of your videos, and that part, in particular, meant more to me than I can express. I would actually watch them purposefully every single day and rewind that part and picture you encouraging ME (a terrified wife/mom/nana in the PNW). Thank you x infinity for taking the time to do this. I know I’m just one person out of hundreds of thousands who appreciates your kindness, but I truly can’t thank you enough and just had to tell you.
Our first visit back to Disneyland in years was pure joy! Many highlights stand out but meeting you on Main Street on this day was very special. So sometimes, when I’m at Disneyland I’ll hang out outside the queue and just activate tinkerbell when I see some kids near who don’t know it’s there. It really is magic when their eyes light up. Also funny story I’ll activate is sometimes when I’m at home hoping I made someone’s day! 😃😃😃
How do you do this?
@ well I just tried and they changed the app so I can’t do it anymore. I used to just go on the app say I’m standing in the queue, play the game mark all of tinkerbells lost trinkets the. It’ll ask if you’re by the lantern and then you press I’m at the lantern then tink shows up. They must have changed it to only use magic band or fixed the precise location requirement if you’re not in the park.
couple years back me, my wife, and my SIL went to disneyland for our anniversary, some event. We disneybounded as shmee, hook, and Peter Pan respectively. When we got in line for Peter Pan's flight a cast member spotted us and crooked her finger like "come here!" We went over to her and she took us through the exit line to put us on right away because she was so pleased by our costumes. Hope I'm not getting her in trouble!

It's called "making magic" at the disneyland parks. It's allowed :) it's a way cast members show appreciation. I have gotten moved to the empty fast pass lines just for complimenting a janitor in the que. Cast members can make the day so special❤
I've been going to Disneyland since I was 5 years old, and one of my happy places/things is to run my hand along the railing at the Peter Pan queue knowing that my little 5 year old hand ran along the same railing.
Older folks might remember these rides differently. We lived not too far from the park and would go at least twice a year (on my sisters and my birthdays generally) with a couple trips thrown in here and there 'just because'. Peter Pan was one of my favorites because you got to 'fly' over a well lit and meticulously detailed miniature world. This was swapped out later for the cheaper blacklights and neon paintings in many places probably as a means to cut costs on lighting and maintenance. I do recall it being somewhat hot in those rooms because all the bright lights would often overpower the AC. I'm sure the newer generations still find enjoyment, but to us older folks it felt like quite a bit of that magic was lost when they did that.

Peter pans flight is my favorite ❤️ with Snow White in a close second like you said, Peter Pan is not scary at all and even Snow White is beautiful. My toddler did dislike the ride because of the evil queen. These videos are amazing, wonderful work- thank you

I remember the days when this ride wasn't crowded! I had a friend who was an Imagineer who worked om this ride when they re-did Fantasyland in1983 , The Peter Pan mural where you board the boats is his design. It was also his idea to put the Wicked Queen in the window over the Snow White ride. He also design things in Mr Toad as well as the base for Excalibur. Love this ride!

While the ride is SERIOUSLY one of our favorites, we don't ride it much because of the line, so when we do get to ride it, it is ALWAYS VERY SPECIAL. Love the Peter Pan ride.. I'm sure partially because I had a huge crush on Tinkerbell when I was a kid! 💚🧚♀️ I spotted most of the items you pointed out in the scavenger hunt/I-spy thingy but the thimble.. all I saw was a kiss (boy did I feel lost). I'm fairly sure you mentioned it before, the Neverland native scene in Disney World has been replaced with Tiger Lilly dancing (and the natives looking a little less like caricatures).

I have never been to Disneyland but have been to Disney world & we have gone on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh & Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! Love these! Alice in Wonderland is my favorite ride in Fantasyland. Might be my favorite ride of all time. It’s a great dark ride, but the nostalgia factor just hits so hard.

Peter Pan has always been my very favorite ride in FantasyLand!
Favorite Fantasyland ride is definitely Toad. The uniqueness of that ending for a "family" ride will always make it one of my top attractions. There is no way that gets built today. I wouldn't mind Mr toad being the next attraction to become a "Parlor" on a ship. But you might want to take the driving aspect out of that one. 😉
An awesome video Chris! The best part was when you were talking about the menacing teenagers and the ride issues they caused, there was a teenager standing behind making gestures and annoyingly bouncing around. Timing!!!! My favorite Fantasyland ride is Alice in Wonderland. The dancing cards and the screaming Queen are excellent! Thanks for providing the Magic and giving the mental health speech every time. I want to say the post production commentary is a great idea. Usually i skip the on-ride section as the view pales to being on the ride. The on ride commentary was a lot easier format to ingest information.

Favorite FL attractions:
#1: Storybook Canal
#2: Casey's Jr.
#3: Snow White
#4: Alice
#5: PP.
Although I LOVE PP, as a Northern CA resident who's NOT an AP holder and is lucky if I get to DLR once every year or two, a DLR trip is just WAY too costly to spend an hour average waiting for a less than 3 minute attraction! And no, the pay-to-play-the-line options are not financially viable, so that's not happening either! My BEST PP opportunities are at opening or closing and an occasional 'down time" to get into a quick moving line. A 20/25 minute wait is our top limit, so that's why it makes the #5 spot on my list! But as far as the attraction itself, it's AWESOME.... as long as you're NOT afraid of heights!

My favorite in fantasyland is Storybook land canal boats. I just like floating along, taking time to enjoy the scenery.
The Magic Kingdom version has a steady load similar to the Haunted Mansion.
i've been to disneyworld twice. once when I was a kid and my wife and I honeymooned and the park. we stayed at the Caribbean Resort Hotel in the Aruba section. my favorite ride was Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan. The effects on both were captivating. and made you feel like you were really in those places.
LOVE Peter Pan's Flight! I went on it in January at Disney World and got to ride it with my granddaughter. But ... there was no line! Why? We went during an After Hours event. We arrived at the Magic Kingdom at 7:00 pm and didn't leave until 1:00 am. It was awesome!
EDIT: At 10:39, you circled and pointed out London Bridge. Nope! That's Tower Bridge. The London Bridge is elsewhere. There is also an older one at Lake Havasu in Arizona, USA! I read somewhere that the millionaire that bought London Bridge with the intent of moving it to America also thought he was buying Tower Bridge, and didn't realize his mistake until it was too late to back out of the deal. So don't feel bad. But, you got Big Ben right! It's the bell, not the tower.

Your insight on the rides is what I like to point out to my family when we are at the park. The tea cups ride at Alice in Wonderland are still my favorite even though we enjoy all the rides at fantasy land. Your message at the end brings joy and hope when I am having a rough day and is a source of inspiration. I totally remember " Chicken of the Sea "!! I do recall going there to eat tuna fish sandwiches and drink orange juice and I was only 3 years old and remember seeing a 🎉giant whale with it's mouth was open. 🐳

Sigh... I was at Disneyland at the end of January and went on Peter Pan twice, before the release of this video. But I spent my time in line people watching and missed all the things that Chris said to look for. It was interesting to hear about the history of the ride and next time I will pay more attention to the building itself. Thanks for a great video.
