He talking about he didn't want to give up his shoes when a gun was pulled out on him, make it make sense? Mom could have gotten him a used car for a $1000
It's their prerogative if they want to spend $1,000 on shoes. I can't believe how many people are victim blaming. Are y'all walking around with a gold necklace or earrings or something like that is it just fair game because it's expensive then? Why don't you use some consistent logic? Armed robbery is not okay no matter what the circumstance how is that not obvious to everyone here? Sick.
I think its lack of common sense blaming. Sure you can buy 1,000$ shoes but know you are a target when you wear them. Just like if I walk through the hood or anywhere sketchy my gold chain will be tucked and my watch is going in my pocket. If I was dumb enough to have 1000$ shoes I would wear crocks to the bus stop and have my shoes in my book bag if its that serious, and put them on when I get to school. I would do that once maybe cause after that they other kids will be on to you. Gotta be smart.
@@Deessmaws I understand your point and I practice these types of things in my daily life. They're supposed to actually take these criminals off the streets so there's less of them but they're doing the opposite. Also these kids weren't in the hood they're in a nice neighborhood at their bus stop in the morning. I really do get your point I grew up in some sketchy neighborhoods. It's getting sketchy it my current neighborhood, but it shouldn't have to be like this either. It's gross.
@@awaitingSaint777 Very true it shouldn't be like this, but its been going on for years. I hope they catch whoever did this. This is a nice neighbor hood where this happened and I know people around there, but we also have to teach the children (shouldn't have to) to keep their head on a swivel and pay attention if you have anything nice. Always know there are people that may want what you have. Its a sad way to live but it is what it is.
Indeed, honestly, its no different from being an adult and going to an expensive 5-star restaurant or wearing expensive luxury clothes (especially if you worked to purchase it). There are people that would rather do the opposite.

Everybody’s into different things. I’m sure there’s something you’d spend a $1000 that somebody else will look at as one of the worst things to spend $1000 on
@@mxrrss I mean yea I agree, when I was a teen I had 40$ shoes that stunk by the end of the year but hey I never got robbed, unless they had a raging foot fetish I was safe 😹
All the comments assuming someones mom bought the shoes but I'd doubt that tbh. Kids getting cash in some many ways these days and dropping every penny on some materialism
How gross to want to put on shoes off someone's nasty feet. Will they steal underwear next. There is no low to which my race will not sink. Gross. Please don't steal my bra and used Maxi pad. Peace.
why would you purchase 1k shoes for a high school student?...gee wiz get your priorities straight...
They were most likely reps
Plz try to pay attention, the child bought them!!
1000 pair of shoes just to stand at a bus stop
what do teenagers need with $970 shoes anyways? robberys not okay but no kid needs shoes that expensive.
It's not about needing it's about showing off
Bet another kid at the bust stop sent the robbers a photo. Clear set up.
That’s what comes with the territory when you wear 900 dollar shoes to a bus stop.
The cognitive dissonance of these women is fascinating🤔
What are kids doing wearing $1,000 shoes for school. Dumb
Shoes have become so stupid , if the kids wear walmart shoes this wouldnt happen
I never even heard of those ugly shoes

Could’ve bought 4-5 pairs of regular shoes. Even if my kid worked hard, I couldn’t support them spending that money on one pair.

Tougher laws on young people. If they are grown enough to commit crimes, then they should do adult time.
I have a pair of $30 sneakers and I have been wearing them for seven years. What on earth someone buy a thousand dollars shoes?
