7:15 the NBA might want to get rid of 3secs and widen the court so that there's more space from side line to sideline to open up the lane and then the arc could the same length all the way around so that the corner 3 isn't an easier shot
I was smiling all throughout the show. you guys are great, loving Amin has a decent microphone now and better quality and incredible chemistry keep it up. Love you guys!
Getting rid of the corner 3 is the dumbest thing I keep hearing ppl suggest. Even if the corner 3 is technically shorter just about no one is shooting directly from the line, most players are much closer to the out of bounds line than that corner line.
I might be alone on this, but I've been saying for years they should get rid of the foul out. But instead of just letting a guy keep fouling, make it more punitive. E.g., after the 6th foul, all their fouls are two shots and the ball, or something like that. This way a team doesn't HAVE to bench a star player after their 6th foul, but they have to strategize how they'll handle it.
1. Getting rid of the "corner 3" is a bad idea. Players in the corner not only shoot 3s, they also cut to the basket for dunks when there's a double-team in the lane. And "corner 3's" are part of today's spacing that has invigorated the NBA. 2. Make moving screens a turnover, instead of a foul. NBA should emphasize calling moving screens. And since there are so many moving screens, I would hate to see players foul out simply because - for example - 3. No fouling out is a bad idea! My counter would be to always have goon in the game (e.g. - Dillon Brooks, Anthony Mason, Rick Mahorn) to repeatedly foul the opposition's best player.
I don't think they were suggesting getting rid of charges all together, just the part where someone can run into the lane specifically to just take a charge and fall down, because that's not basketball. A charge should happen when the defender is actually trying to play defense, imho

As a heat fan, getting rid of the charge is a no-go. Taking a charge is one of the core pillars of heat culture
I'm saying!

Yo yo yo
Getting rid of charges is dumb. Let's just get rid of defense while you're at it. Getting rid of corner 3s is dumb
I'm down with the 3 second call on the conors

Thank God Tom is not a rule-maker lol.
Love banning the charge. I’ve been on this wave for years.
Boo! 🦉
I’ve been calling for banning the charge forever. It’s one of the dumbest rules in sports
