Agreed on the mats. Spent a whole winter working off of mats. While not a total waste of time it changes the feel of contact and definitely bounce. Messed up my golf brain. I use the range at RIchmond Hill Golf...simply because it's convenient, and funny how many people pull or slice their drives on the first hole, even though it's probably the most open one on the whole course....lol. Nice to watch you playing my local courses. I haven't played this one, but I can see it's not an easy course. Narrow, on the whole, I believe.

I dropped my driver last year about half way through. It was costing me strokes. In fact, the rest of the season was irons only. This taught me a lot about course management. My game got better. I brought my 3 wood back in this year and am working with the driver at the range only. It will be back in my bag within the next few weeks.

I need a new driver. My driver's shaft is too whippy!
