Please note: If the dose knob is hard to push, we can replace the pen if it’s proven to be defective, however this requires an assessment by our Pharmacy team along with a video showing how the pen was primed. Please contact us at hello@andmyjuniper.co.uk with a video of the situation before disposing of the pen.

Let us know if you have any questions!
Can you store the pen in the refrigerator after use?
Like this way can we use 4 times in a single pen?
One dose from 15 mg how many tikes??
Do we have to pinch the skin before administering the injection?
All those questions are very important. Please, we need the answers to it ASAP 🙏
Excellent. Even though the instructions are very clearly outlined and illustraed it was very helpful to see this vid and get confirmation that I'm doing everything right !
we went to the hospital and even the nurse were very confusing how to inject it, this is the worst move , please return the old single use pens , people will find alternative for sure if you keep such a bad idea for saving few pounds
This is brilliant description and visual video helps , thank you so much .
Thanks for the video. By far the best explanation I‘ve seen yet.
Great clear instruction, thank you. I’ve just taken my first injection. Did not feel a thing, unlike finger pricks.
Same! Good luck 🤞🏻
Finger pricks are awful!
The trick to finger pricks I found is to go for the side of your finger, rather than the front, also not the fingerprint area too, but the section behind.
@@Larry I hate them. I’ve got piercings and I’m covered in tattoos but pricking my finger is 🤮. 😄
@@Oamanda6 I'm not a fan of needles myself, managed to avoid having a blood test for about 20 years :D But it's not fun, is it?
Thank you very much for this video. I live in Germany but my German isn't that good at all so I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. I felt definitely more confident after watching this video.
Thank you for the video. I am in Greece about to begin treatment. It has been very helpfup.
Thank you so much, this vid really helped me out. I miss the old injections that were disposable but they're so tough to get.
Today I did as per the instructions. Successfully injected.
Thanks for such a detailed information.
I was amazed how less stressful it is to inject yourself, than to let someone else do it. You literally don't even feel the needle going in doing it yourself, and I'm one of the biggest cowards ever when it comes to needles!
Thank you very much. Just start today ❤
I dnt like this new pen old one was good ..with this I did twice mistake Half dose was injected in mid I pulled the needle ,half was released out of ma skin 😢😢😢😢😢 m not sure now it will work
This is indeed the best demonstration video
Do you need to prime your pen every week?
I started today ❤❤
how mani clikc are there until you reach numer 1?
The recent changes to the system have left many of us feeling confused and frustrated. The transition from a user-friendly interface to a more complicated process is concerning. This shift risks alienating thousands of clients and could result in a significant drop in sales. I urge the team to reconsider these changes and prioritize user experience to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty, please return the previouse 4 pens pack
I know right. I still get nightmares from the multiuse pen from ozempic I used. It was terrible. I was so happy when I switched to mounjaro and no pain was there with single use pen. They need to bring back the single use pen
And yet it’s interesting to see some chats in this video asking for 4-dose pens in the USA. I suppose it is currently felt that Americans need a much simpler approach, despite this leading to the current shortages there.
Preach💔 idk how im gonna take this i swear
@@Nonamee-n1sthis is one pen available in uk
I imagine part of the reason is all the darn plastic involved.
. wondering why Ely lilly will not give us the four dose pens, in the US.
And why there so expensive compared to ours in the uk . It's ridiculous.
Hi my dose is 5 but I have a 10 pen how can I use this pen to only get 5 instead of 10 is it possible
What about the second dose?
The first dose is 2.5mm
And the second dose 5mm so how can I get it
You buy it seperate once you have completed 4x 2.5ml
I’m confused - do you store the pen in the fridge or at room temperature?
Fridge I was told .
Thank you for this video- first injection today!
Thx🎯💯
How many clicks for each dose in the 15 mg new pen ??
In any pen you turn till you get 1 in the dose window. That shows 0.64 ml. Every pen has the corresponding dosage for 0.64 ml. So the 15mg pen on showing 1 will inject 0.64 ml that is 15 mg.
It was very useful for me thank u so much for the detail🙏🙏🙏
Thank you, very easy to follow. It would have been easier to give 4 injections like trucility but i suppose, its tonsave Money.

@@indigopeas4047 Your assumption that I am from the USA, which I am not. 2nd...the pen itself its not the shortage, its the medicine. But the design is to save money which I can understand.
Do you need to pinch the skin when injecting the site? I've seen some advice to do so.
It hurts less if you do, but you don't need to. At least that's what I discovered after a month and a half of using it
الابر القديمة افضل بكثير وأسهل
how many clicks are in one pen?
You forgot to give instructions to clean the injection site with an alcohol swab prior to inserting the needle 😮
Because it is NOT needed and actually NOT recommended. Wiping injection sites on the skin has led to a lot of injection site reactions.
Funny you say that, because even if the swab wasn't supposed to be used to clean the injection site prior to injecting, they should still say people need to make sure it is cleaned as that could be another problem on itself.
This is a totally different pen than I got sent . I'm so confused as how to use mine .
I'd rather go on a diet than having to follow these steps every week!
You still have to go on a diet with this.. Its helpful for people with diabetes, pre diabetes, metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance who struggle to lose weight.. Without dieting it does not work..
And what exactly is metformin for? Starting from a BMI of 44, I’ve managed to lose 25 kilos/55 pounds of weight in six (6) months, of which mostly fat, solely on metformin, together with a 1000kcal/day calorie deficit diet after month three (3).
I was diagnosed with metabolic syndrome, and specifically pre-diabetes together with a really acute case of insulin resistance. However, after month three (3) my fasting insulin dropped by 60%, albeit it should be noted that I am on an inositol supplement as well, which I am going off of gradually. Also, I am looking to buy an elliptical trainer for indoor exercise, because I can’t be bothered to exercise otherwise.
Perhaps these new drugs are applicable to cases that can’t be treated with regular/older drugs and as an alternative or previous step to surgery, nevertheless they are hyped because of their weight loss benefit which appeals not only to sick individuals, but people looking to shed weight fast for non-medical reasons.
@@solidsession2010 .I'm glad the medical approach that you took has worked for you.. But we need to understand that every body is different... What worked for you might have still have complications for others..do share your diet details.. It might actually benefit others struggling with similar health issues . Peace for everyone!
@@KindergartenWithMsFozia I’ll answer your question but first I would like to clarify a few things:
My obesity is most likely caused by my severe resistance to insulin, hence by taking metformin and going on a diet I managed to improve my condition, exceeding weight loss results of GLP-1 agonist drugs. Metmorfin on its own most likely won’t produce said results, unless you have the same condition as me.
In my country, as in most, GLP-1 agonist drugs are prescribed solely for diabetes treatment. One of the endocrinologists that I visited said that I would be a perfect candidate for them, but she declined to register me as a diabetic (I am pre-diabetic), which I agreed with and stated my preference for a less aggressive approach.
Hence, if you have diabetes and are overweight/obese these new drugs should be considered, but personally I would exhaust all other options before taking them for a number of reasons. Obviously, these decisions should be made under proper medical guidance, but what is most important is that besides medication proper lifestyle changes are made (eating healthy, exercising etc.) to address the underlying causes.
As far as my diet goes, without going into too much detail I am on 5-meal per day plan, only whole grain foodstuffs, no juices whatsoever, 2 fruits per day combined with a protein source (e.g. unsalted nuts or low-fat yogurt) for my in-between meals. My main meals consist of an animal protein source, green salad and one whole grain carbohydrate source. More importantly, I did a specialized breath test to measure my Resting Metabolic Rate and planned my daily calorie to lose 1 kilo per week, i.e. a 1000 calorie deficit per day.

so confusing about the different dosages. the pen doesn't come with any instructions.
I still dont get it. I dont know how much I am putting in. How do I count? How many times I repeat to process to reach the 2.5mg? Its weird.
Each time you do this process it contains 2.5mg of the medication. There are 4 doses of 2.5mg of medication in each pen in addition to the four ‘priming’ ones
Are you joking everyone it's not clearly for the dosage amount
Hello, where can I get needles, I received my pen without needles 😢
Same here, got mine in the UAE. No pen needles. I wonder if it is fake?! I've been told that I can just get pen needles from the pharmacy 4mm or 8mm.
If in UK ur GP should give u them if not I can buy them of Amazon
I bought it in dubai with no needles too!!I asked the pharmacy and they gave me 0.25*6 mm needles. Its wiered why they don't put the needles in the pack!!!
U need to buy it separate
Needles are bought separately, they come in packs of like 100 because Mounjaro isn't the only medication delivered by Kwikpen.
Does it do anything ,started on 2.5 then 5 then 7.5 and no clue to what its doing .No loss of appetite ,still eat as much and no weight loss is it all a scam
Does it hurt
Not at all.
It's barely a pinch.
I’m on week 5 now and loving ! Cannot feel it at all !
No, just did mine. I was worried as well but barely felt it, the needle tip is very small and it slides into th skin easily.
Does not hurt at all, I did not feel a thing, needle is very fine
Why is there a fair amount left at the end of the month?!
I would also like to know. Is that normal?
@@geovanaczeni I found out since that the monthly dose is 2.3ml, but ALL the pens naturally contain 3ml so everyone gets a bit more. It is a waste but I suppose it is cheaper for them to use existing 3ml pens than to specially create and produce 2.3ml ones. They set the mechanism so you can only use 2.3ml though so you just have to throw it away!
@@zekechapeach of the 4 doses administers 0.6ml (as explained in this video) so that makes a total of 2.4ml, not 2.3ml. But yes, that would explain the remainder medicine due to repurposing 3.0ml kwikpens.
It's also to account for the small amounts you use when priming the pen
If you turn it hard, it gives a 5th dose. The left over is for priming the needle@@zekechap
Hi is how much I like to have am from Gambia 🇬🇲
Hi if there is only 4 doses why hasn’t one dose gone down? Xx
You get more than 4 doses technically, this is to account for the liquid you lose when you prime the pen.
Put off by the needle...I have a fear of needles. Any tablets?
Me too but I didn't feel it for some reason
Orlistat is good if you dont want to inject
The needle is sub cutaneous only, as in it just puts it under the skin rather than in a vein or whatever.
It’s so fine you cannot feel it.
Hi is how much I like to have am from Gambia 🇬🇲 1:36
what a bad move you will lose thousands of clients and millions of pounds , do not think you are saving this way , moving from the easy 4 pens user friendly to such a complicated procedures will drop your sales pipeline significantly , for many days me and all friends I know that they used to it are confused and trying to find hospital appointment to isert auch a bad new idea , eben it was very beneficial but after such change , we will definitely stop using it
And yet it is interesting to see some chats in this video asking for 4-dose pens in the USA. I suppose it is currently felt that Americans need a much simpler approach, despite this leading to the current shortages there.
I don't understand the problem, it's easier?
Do you need a new pen with every injection
I saw your ad and think it’s disgusting you’re trying to market yourselves to people other than those who really need weight loss help outside of dieting and exercising. Acting like “it’s not your fault” preying on women who are just overweight and desperate for a quick fix without making it clear such products are really only meant for people who have trouble losing weight via traditional means.
Don't use this pen. The pen is at fault and doesn't deliver 4 full doses per month. You end up paying full price for only 3 doses each month. And they keep making excuses/blaming you and only refunding a small proportion of what you've missed. I lost about £150 over 4 months
New system 👎
dignitas
Soo complicated design 😢the previous 4 pens were easier than this ,I will stop buying this bs 😤
How are you fat bods getting on with this? 🙂
this is not patient friendly too many steps . You are not supposed put the cap on the needle as you can accidentally get pricked
I’m sure you’ll overcome this incredible test of human intellect.
The old version was so much easier 🥲 why the gotta ruin what was already perfect
Less waste on unique packaging (Kwikpen is already a common delivery method for insulin), meaning orders of Mounjaro itself can deliver faster.
Today I did as per the instructions. Successfully injected.
Thanks for such a detailed information.
