A good lawyer will show that signs have been ineffective for years in preventing accidents at the bridge and that the city has failed in taking proper steps in ensuring these accidents no longer happen. A good lawyer will show that the city has been negligent in taking proper steps to fix the problem rather than the ineffective signs. Juries love to stick it to the deep pockets in favor of the little victim. Warning signs on McDonalds hot coffee cups did not prevent them from being successfully sued for negligence when someone was burned . Warning signs will not absolve anyone. It will only show that the city was aware of the problem but refused to take the necessary actions to fix the problem because it’s an expensive fix. The city is gambling that no innocent bystanders will ever get hurt there. It’s all about money.

Most rental insurance does NOT cover "Roofing" a truck. I worked for contractor in Chicago Low bridges everywhere! they had 6 trucks "roofed" by Indiana drivers 25k each! In Chicago they have "Dug OUT" a lot of the low bridges but they are still out there.

This place needs gates that come down. So if a over height vehicle is coming the gates come down and stay down till the vehicle turns away from the bridge
Green light obviously takes precedence over any other warning, so the traffic signal should immediately switch to red whenever the overheight sign is activated.

this is the 147th truck to feed the bridge,one gets tired of it,plus if they get a flat,send a bill to rider,or penske,allthough i think penske ran out of trucks.
I love how in every one of the videos people just drive over the metal fragments that fly off of the trucks. I can only imagine how many flats occur within a few blocks of the bridge.
This place needs gates that come down. So if a over height vehicle is coming the gates come down and stay down till the vehicle turns away from the bridge

Green light obviously takes precedence over any other warning, so the traffic signal should immediately switch to red whenever the overheight sign is activated.
